I'm pretty sure you can't do it wired unless it's some special adapter I haven't heard of. I do know for sure that you can't use the play and charge kit wire for a PC like you can with the console

I had Xbox One controllers and they all broke
might as well get another one, if it costs more than 10 for the 360 hookup

He's talking about a wireless controller. They have USB cables, but they're only designed to be used with the console. It's confusing, because the cable actually only provides power to the controller, but it's still connected over BT

I have used my 360 controller on a computer just by using the USB cord. I think some cords worked and others do not. I don't know the tech behind USB cords, but nice think ones (no joke) seem to work, while the skinny ones do not .

Wireless Microsoft 360 controllers USB only charges power, it doesn't provide functionality
