I do. They're much more in the mindset of "this has already been asked" or "you didn't follow this sub's rules perfectly".

reddit has no mod policies, it's just a bunch of dudes who decide "not funny, post removed, already asked, post removed" etc

The GameFAQs mods are worse. They suspended me for "harassing" Hillary Clinton, a public figure who doesn't even post here.

The DoorDash Driver mods banned me for posting Lets go Brandon in a thread where someone posted a pic of a DD driver - named Brandon - seriously fucking up an order.

They apologized when I called them out on it, but didnt reverse the ban.

I got banned from FragileWhiteRedditor for telling someone I thought it was in poor taste for them to tell an indigenous central american that he doesn't count as indigenous american, when he considers himself one. Got banned for "talking over an indigenous woman and performative wokeism for cool points"

even tho I'd been a contributor for years. still annoyed about it :(

Yeah, subreddit mods are just regular people. They also can't ban sitewide.

Which means an admin got involved, which is an employee. They don't really get involved. Guessing it violated the site's content policy.

I got banned from r/news and the mods there didnt even let me know the post/thread that caused it. Most likely it was like an analysis thread about sports betting vote in California. But that doesnt seem ban worthy. Maybe a warning to not post analysis posts.

I think each reddit group has their own mods. So it would just be the mods of that group. Also you are lucky. If you said he should be arrested for crimes that would be one thing. But you said he should be harassed. That is illegal. If you said people should protest him wherever he goes that would have been legal not got you in trouble

Yeah, I got permabanned from there. I understand why though. They don't mess around with anything that could be interpreted as moddable there, and that holds true for both sides, and that immediately makes them better than r/conservative.

I was obviously a very left wing poster and they banned me all the same. I respect that a lot more than right wing hugboxes like........literally every right wing subreddit and page on the internet.
