You know, in the east of Sumeru Forest, there is a pit with a huge broken ruin guard?
And a teleport point at the north edge of that pit? (iirc a bit northwest of the Aeonblight icon)

Teleport there, look behind you. There is a cave entrance.
Enter the cave and immediately turn right without jumping down. Follow this path, it will lead directly towards the Aeonblight.

Hoping I can lucksack Childe and Layla+cons on the next banner here. Zero interest in Scarymooch, though if Raiden reruns alongside him, I'm definitely shooting for cons for her.

Probably saving everything for Dehya at this point. Think I'll have enough to guarantee either C1 or her weapon by then

Alhaitham has grown on me quite a bit though. Kinda hoping he's not really in 3.4

Childe will probably be more meta than Mooch since Childe International is on a different level from any other team comp.

Decided there's no point in going for Scarydouche since I have C6 Kaz, C1 Xiao and C6 Heizou as Anemo Main dpses. Decided to get my next pity since I was already at 75. Got Nahida C1 hell yeah.

Since I'm strictly F2P from 3.0 onward, it's better to max fewer characters than obtain a bunch of C0 ones that are weaker than what I already have.

Gotta say though... Getting Nahida + C1 + Her wep using only F2P primos feels kinda awesome.

Scara is just getting any leftovers after Yae for me. Dont need him; just kinda want him for explorations sake.

Not a real fan of anemo units in general. It feels like they all rely on swirl or elemental mastery for big damage, except maybe Xiao who can just dunk on stuff using pure anemo.

I did my first run of the fortuitous trials and got Thunderbolts with Yae and Kokomi, Sayu the Hedgehog and Goomba Stomping with Xiao

Thinking about, if I were to take a shot every time a Sumeru NPC had a name from my culture I'd probably be blackout drunk by now

Loving the representation^^ though I do wonder if my own name will ever pop up...

He seems like a cross between Xiao and Heizou. Xiao is a very controversial character, but I think he's actually really good in the right hands. His damage output is almost unrivaled as a hypercarry.

Man I need a breather from artifact farming I think, I feel mentally wiped. But I still need a Hydro Goblet for Childe, my Xiangling set is...decent I guess? Plenty of room for improvement, but it's not complete ass. And I need to start farming Bennett's set.

Farming sucks so much, but Bennett is easy as hell to gear. If you don't care about set bonuses, just stack nothing but HP% and ER on him since his attack bonus is based on his equipped weapon and his healing is based on his HP.

In other news, I've nearly finished all my farming for Scarydouche except for the drake. I've got like 135ish mushrooms so I'll easily have them all in a week. Got all my anemo gems, handguards, etc. And nearly all the talent books to get to 8/8/8 talent level.

Hopefully I can win him with saved fates.

3.3 first: Wanderer, Itto
3.3 second: Raiden, Ayato
3.4: Hu Tao (and based on other leaks, Alhaitham, Yaoyao)

Yeah, I'm likely skipping Faruzan coz of bad banners (for me).
Bet Wanderer will not sell well at all.

Yeah, but stuck between Nahida and Raiden (the two best units in the game), I have low expectations.

I'm kinda getting the vibe that Wanderer's movement is a lot cooler than his fighting style is useful. But that's OK I suppose.

He's basically like an AOE Heizou that flies. His ultimate is nearly identical to Heizou's.

He'll be better as a Swirl Enabler than a hypercarry, which puts him in a similar situation as Pre-C6 Kazuha but with more on-field presence.

TLDR -
Anemo Hypercarry = Xiao, Heizou, C6 Kazuha
On-field Swirl Sub DPS = Kazuha, Scarydouche, Sucrose
Off-field Sub DPS = Kazuha, Venti
Support: Jean, Kazuha, Venti, Sucrose, Sayu

What I find interesting is when he's hit in midair. I knew he had like zero resistance to so much as getting sneezed on while up there, but I thought he'd face plant on the ground and his skill would end. But the video shows him just briefly dipping down before popping back up to continue his thing.

I like how the anemo ring behind his back is the same thing as Raiden's electro ring, which makes sense given that they're similar models.

That's pretty cool and all, but I'm still really not a fan of his design. Think I'm going to pass this time around and hope that we get a hydro or pyro character in the next areas that is a melee catalyst user.

Starting to feel like I have a sufficient primo stockpile and insufficient interest in any of the upcoming characters (outside of Dehya) that I may consider pulling on the weapon banner... but only if both of the banner five-star weapons are useful to me. Otherwise, I'll just sit on 'em.

Anemo is kind of a weird element because it's simultaneously incredibly overpowered but also not a particularly good main DPS element. Xiao is probably the best example of this.

Having played around with Heizou as extensively as I've played around with any characters in this game (which is pretty insignificant compared to streamers lol), he does require some setup in order to be a main DPS. Scary looks no different. I think I'd prefer to wait for a pyro/electro melee character (and I should've said electro instead of hydro in my last post) for ease of setup. A pyro with infusion uptime similar to Hu Tao would be ideal, though we probably won't see anything like that until Natlan. =(

Figuratively and literally.

I won't be getting him but there's an obvious appeal in him being both 5* Heizou and a literal flying character for exploration purposes.

I just finished today's event goals and so far I'm really loving this. The story is funny, too.

I thought the treasure compass would help for sumeru and then it just keeps pointing underground in this fucking country.

I find it more than slightly odd that the game is now encouraging me to take a week off.

Had to take a week off to deal with some family issues (and I wasn't about to lug a PS on a plane lol). This cost me 420 primos due to missing dailies. If I log in and start playing, I'm out and that's it. But if I don't log in for another week, I lose an additional 420 but will gain 500 from Stellar Reunion for a net loss of 340. Weird.

Stellar Reunion is definitely more of an excuse to take a break than an excuse to come back. And there's usually a sweet spot during the last dead week of an old patch and first week of a new patch where deadlines are a couple weeks apart and you wouldn't miss any limited events. That's when they do a bunch of web events that you can do online without logging in.

I'm beginning to realize that the roster size is getting to a point where we aren't going to be seeing characters getting reruns for awhile.

Childe for example hasn't had a rerun in over a year prior to getting one in 3.2, and the gap is just gonna get bigger down the line unless they decide to do three character banners

We'll get triple banners sooner or later as we go.
But yeah, expect your character to be gone for up to a year worst case

Looking forward to the Yelan rerun. It's the only character I really regret skipping at this point. Just hope they don't run her too close to Zhongli, who I don't regret skipping previously but will not skip the next time he runs, either.
