Welp the new trailer didnt have much of anything. I think the only new reveal was what looks like an evolution or alternate form of Donphan? I think thats what it was anyways.

I hope they're holding back the good stuff. Like I'm forever baffled by their decision, during ORAS pre-release, to spoil fighting Deoxys in space. So unnecessary.

Hopefully there's some cool stuff and they're holding it back.

I don't think they need to show anything more at this point tbh so this is fine. They've introduced what seems to be the primary new concepts and a fair amount of new Pokemon. I think that's what you really need to know pre-release.

Then if people wants to spoil themselves of anything, I'm sure that'll be possible before the actual release.

Granted, I'm not as hyped as usual, so if they have something unrevealed that would do that, it'd be nice, but the games need to have some stuff that we don't know.

The mod cited that GameFAQs does not host leaked images, but also said the images were "illegally obtained"... even though the game hasn't been dumped online yet and they're most likely being posted by a legitimate early buyer. But regardless, Nintendo is still having them scrubbed from prominent Twitter and YouTube accounts, so it's not like it's groundless to delete it, but still lol.

It was this board's hot topic and a bunch of randos were appearing towards the end, so that's probably how it got marked.

Yeah there's been proof shown that the dex images can be seen without numbers. Pepper and worm are real.

But also this didn't start out as a marked leak topic so the worm probz shouldn't have been posted unspoilered, especially as it's a boss titan.

Too many leaked designs to evaluate individually but on the whole this is shaping up to be a great gen. The officially revealed designs were getting me worried, but man, Fuecoco3, Quaxly3, Sprigatito2, the bug/dark, the baby whale, the Bisharp evo this gen is great so far!

Future forms have been largely disappointing for me, but Gallade and Hariyama have some real potential.

The 4x weakness was the least of its problems. Without a massive stat increase, there was no salvaging it.

Dex pics of all the Paradoxes out now, and Violet came out the winner in the end.

Ancient Donphan may be the best of the bunch. So wild that of all Pokmon, Donphan gets two forms.

some of the cyber future ones are too close to their original, but metal and others are like too dissimilar. I dunno, I want a clearer shot of Hariyama.

Does this game have good or bad press leading into its release? All I know is that I heard it was an open-world game with gym leaders (not sure whether true). I'm really hoping this game turns out good because all of the other major Nintendo IPs have delivered big time on the Nintendo Switch.

Sword/Shield was such a bare bones skeleton of a Pokemon experience that it killed off any interest I had in the series. I tried Arceus and liked a lot of the things that they did in the game but ultimately quit due to boredom from the repetitive gameplay loop and the excessive dialogue in a ho hum run of the mill JRPG story. It did however renew my interest in a future mainline Pokemon (said future game which is now Pokemon Scarlet/Violet) game because I'm hoping it would turn out to be the experience that Sword/Shield failed to deliver.

It's been a much more positive release cycle. Nothing even remotely comparable to the Dexit trash fire. Most negativity just revolves around visuals, worrying about performance, or worrying about game balance/difficulty.

Oh wait, I forgot that a lot of people are disappointed that a bunch of new elements from Arceus aren't carrying over, like seemless battles or overworld catching. But that's not having much of an effect on the overall discourse. Unlike Dexit ragers, they tend to just say their piece and move on.

To be honest I don't really feel like they showed much?
Also yes the visuals are super bad but there is nothing new about this, we got used to it and gave up on complaining about it

Also I kinda stopped following things once I realized that the leaks were true and there are spoilers everywhere
But I know that even if I didn't follow things, if there was such a uproar about something, I would have heard about it even if I didn't want to
