I recently finished a minor project there. I'm at the point where the really fun stuff is finished, and the rest of the flattening is going to be really spread out and bland.

Like here's a timelapse of what I call The Bluffs:

All of those mountains are gone. And I just got rid of the last little bit of hill at the top of the bluffs, too. It's completely flat.

So the next step, naturally, is taking this entire landmass and levelling it. And it is a wide, flat block of dirt, stone, gravel and water.

It's almost certainly going to take until the end of 2023 to even approach finishing this phase of the project. I could also leave this for a while and start leveling some of the coastline up near my spawn point, which is mostly flat dirt and sand.

Either way, the glory days of the Flatworld project are far behind me at this point. There are more mountains to level in the distance, but they're a long, long ways off.

Why though

I wish I was this creative with minecraft. I always get bored too fast.
