University of California Davis. Forget when it was, my guess would be 2015.

I've really gotta hand it to the cop here, it takes a big man to pepper spray a bunch of university students who are sitting on the ground. Like really, give this man a medal. They weren't lunging at him, but it was only a matter of time, right? Really, it was a sound tactical decision. The grown man had to spray irritants into the faces of university students because of what they were saying.

Obvious sarcasm aside - the University of California Davis paid $175,000 for this picture not to show up on Google back in the day. This is either before BLM or right at the inception, and this fucking donut jockey is just as lazy and cruel as the cops who were pulling protestors into unmarked vans and making them sign documents under duress.

This has always been the state of the police in America. All protest is considered violent enough to the point of using force. The warning signs of this rot were there for years, and now the house is falling down.
