For one the actors just don't look that good. And it's not surprising when you think about it, because the most beautiful people out there don't need to work at porno productions to be taken care of, other people will cover them just for exclusive access to them (a relationship). This even goes for the really popular named porn stars. They're uggo. And the idea of there being another one or more two dudes in the room with a camera, plus lighting or whatever else is unsettling. And finally if you're watching straight porn, there's gonna be someone there you're objectively not attracted to. And most guys in straight porn are flabby balding dudes. A lot of b/g porn isn't good because you can tell the actors just aren't into each other.
