Guy has a GF. Guy has a bestfriend who is a girl.

They hang out every single weekend, just the two of them, doing pretty datey things like going to the movies, out to dinner, or hanging out at her place to watch TV or play games. They also text and talk every single day.

They talk about sexual topics A LOT together but it is never actually like about like the two of them doing anything together. Just about like hentai and porn. They are both aware of what the other's turn ons and fetishes are though. The most they have ever done physically together are hugs.

As long as this relationship and the closeness are disclosed to the partner, no. If she has no idea how close they are, it'd definitely be some form of betrayal, even if not cheating.

No. I have friends of the opposite and same sex who I talk to about stuff like this. And I give all my friends (old and new) hugs hello and goodbye. They just seem like normal best friends. But I would say that Id understand the GFs feelings They are valid. But I also wouldnt get rid of my bestfriend(s)

i had a female best friend in college. we lived together the year before we graduated and continued being friends after. my gf after college broke up with me because i crashed at my friend's place one night after we went out (she lived like 30 miles from me at that point). nothing happened, but my gf wasnt cool with it and thats ok

While thats true, that depends on if this is an emotional affair I wouldnt consider having a best friend to be an emotional affair

No, that's not cheating.

But in that scenario, I would question if that guy is even ready to have a girlfriend. If he works during the week and he's spending every single weekend hanging with his best friend, there doesn't sound like much time to spend with a girlfriend.

At most, it'd be good to make sure the GF is aware of how close he and his friend are, to avoid potential misunderstandings.
