He didn't walk into the film industry as the biggest star in Hollywood. Now he has stroke. It checks out. Young Rock had him losing to a gang instead of an older bully. He hasn't lost in a fair fight in a movie since Vin Diesel. Most of his movies have him fighting multiple opponents at once (Rundown, Hercules, etc.). He always had a hang up about losing one on one when he was a wrestler too. "You didn't beat The Rock one on one because you couldn't beat The Rock one one one." In his defense, Hollywood isn't looking out for the best interests of a Black/Samoan multicultural superstar. White producers are not going to live vicariously through him the way that they would Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, or Vin Diesel.
