If they really wanted to fix something they could finally fix downtown boston and the absolute mess it still is without user created mods. Bugthesda's updates are still very much a coin flip on whether or not they'll break your game, as illustrated by the surprise Skyrim patch that came out last month, which all but broke console modding until they hotfixed it almost a week later.
