...except it does.... my buddy got married a couple years ago. Him and his wife went to therapy because she convinced him that he was the reason the two were fighting. Meanwhile, she was hooking up with her drug dealer co-worker. He only found out after she asked for a separation for a little while, and when he went to drop off some of her stuff to her new apartment, he found saw a strange car in her driveway, the two had only been split for less than a day. He's now engaged to another woman, and is going to be step father to her two kids.

Funny side story to that, she tried to sue him for half of everything he owned, forgetting she signed a prenup preventing that from happening. She hired a lawyer, and was forced to pay lawyer fees after he told her that he couldn't do anything. She then tried to get my friend to pay half those lawyer fees, to which he obviously laughed in her face and gave her the middle finger.

Another example that sticks in my mind was of a couple in a small town I was in. He was a 19 year old security guard, she was a 18 year old freshman in college. The two had been dating for about 3 months. Her parents surprised visited her one day, and she ran out screaming rape (as apparently that's easier than telling them she had a boyfriend). The poor guard ended up getting close to a year in jail before it was found out she had been lying the entire time. She ended up not serving any time, because fuck our judicial system I guess.

Those are just examples, of cases that it does happen. It happens to both sides far too often.

I mean.....its grossly simplified, but it does happen. Im almost in the middle of something like this. Also due to her work schedule I take the kid to school and also pick him up. She hates on me for every time I ask for sex which is a few times per month ending in sex every 1 1/2 months.

I also come from a divorced family where my mom didnt work (although being a family carer is arguably a tougher job). My dad had to pay my mom like 3.5k in child support and he probably kept around 2k or less for himself thus he was always living in shitty apartments even though he had a good job in corporate exxon mobil. My mom was also spewing hateful stuff about him and it took growing up to discern between black and white.

All in all I realize how it might seem like it comes from an incels train of thought, but it doesnt stop it from being real a lot if times. Being a woman is not equal to being Angel thats always right.

There's... some truth to it. Mothers making lies about the father to their kids after a divorce for no good reason. And of course, she gets half the money. Courts fuck over men. My uncle went through this. He married a horrible selfish woman.

Let's not pretend that a lot of men make it out of marriage unscathed. A lot of times it is very unfair towards the man. This is not a good video and obviously the person who made it has a lot of unresolved issues but hopefully people take a nuanced look at the issue.

My dad was Army and my mom spent as much time as she could "reminding" my siblings and I that my dad was a piece of shit and we were lucky she was there because he'd leave us to starve. She had lots of strange men in the house over the years and when I was 17 she decided to have a move in boyfriend while my dad was stationed in S. Korea. He was a black man who couldn't hold a job (he liked to steal from the registers where he worked) and destroyed the house in drunken fits of rage. He would leave in the middle of the night and steal my mom's car doing who knows what.

When my dad found out he filed for divorce but she wouldn't sign the papers cause she was holding out for him to hit the 20 years of active duty mark for benefits and whatever. When I turned 19 I moved out and they finally got the divorce stuff settled but my mom and her boyfriend gutted the house that was supposed to be sold off so it became worthless. Also had my sister and youngest brother as witnesses in court to say my dad beat us and our mother regularly (this is a lie.) She also ran up credit cards in his name while she could.

Needless to say my dad's future was destroyed and he's been living in poverty for years. I still talk to him but I haven't spoken to my mother in over a decade.
