Tinny can't use Thoron, she's a regular mage instead of a thunder mage, she gets C in all elements (bumped up to B by holy blood) instead of the B in thunder (bumped up to A by holy blood) that Tiltyu got at the cost of not having wind/fire until promotion. You don't inherit weapons you can't use

I finally got the mage sister situation figured out...OK that's a lie, I did a formation that caused two of their AIs to get confused and not attack on enemy phase I guess lol.

And don't sweat Thoron too much. There's no way to pass it down since nobody has the weapon rank to use it.

I have not been paying attention because she's just been healing and I have her animations turned off, but I am fairly certain these Lana growths are nuts.

I finally had enough money on most characters to do Paragon Ring shuffling for the first time to wonderful effect. I wish I could have gotten any of the bow folks to promote but they're all close. Warrior boy is at 19.98 and can't beat this last arena guy to promote and get bows, so frustrating!

Oh, don't worry about getting exp on your bow users. They're going to feast on this map.

People talk about Sigurd and Seliph being busted but Ares just killed 8 of these 12 Paladins without getting hit, Sigurd 2.

The only reason the other two are alive is that they only have Mend staffs lol.

Julia's kidnapping and everything that happens with her after that is probably the dumbest part of the story.

Everyone in my part is level 25 minimum now after the Paragon Shuffling for the arena (except Corpus.....lol), and I feel so powerful. I have to save and stop a few turns into Chapter 10 here but I'm obliterating everything, nothing lasts more than one combat round. I managed to speed run the first castle with the Bolagna Sorceress and Ares took her out effortlessly. What a Chad unit. I know it's just because he comes with the legendary weapon but I don't even care.

Exactly what I did. Right on the edge and then HORSES GO.

Except Oifee. Man is almost at cap and is still made of paper. I've had to reset half a dozen turns because the man got obliterated on enemy phase.

Oifey is supposed to have around 20/21 defense near cap, so it sounds like you've gotten very unlucky with him.

He's at 19, so it's not horrendous, but all his contemporaries are higher. Lower than Larcei or Ulster!

The fact that he is the lowest defence for any of my mounted units other than Lester's embarrasing 12, who always retreats away from range anyways, likely means the AI is targeting him and giving a worse impression I would assume.

While slogging through work to play tonight, I've been pulling up some tracks from the game. The OST really is quite good, but with the playtime so long it mostly all melts away into soothing background noise.

As far as the tracks being memorable, it's hard to compete with 1 minute long bangers like Dark Emperor Hardin.

Feeling safe enough to look through the FE Heroes versions of these characters since this is the first time I felt I needed to do so to get a full grasp on them visually.

It is mostly fine but I 10000% do not accept their modern interpretation of Lachesis.

Heroes Lachesis is a crime against humanity

Everything about her in FE4 made me think she was like a younger stern tomboy type on her way to being an Agrias Oaks like.

Most of the Heroes artwork is good, but every now and then a female character will get hit with a terminal case of moefication. RIP original Elincia and Resplendent Lucina.

I saw Resplendent Lucina during the discourse when it was revealed, honestly I think it has its own charm as an alt outfit, regular Lucina is still there.

I don't see any sign of an acceptable version of Lachesis though.

FE4 is kind of feast or famine in FEH. You have units like Lachesis and Seliph (until recently) who were done dirty, and then you have cases like Ayra who was notorious for the longest time with how strong she was. Since you brought up Ishtar earlier, she's also been treated fairly well in it.

Heroes Arden is a delight.

I watched Professor Bopper's Iron Man/shitpost playthrough of FE4 gen 1 in the background over the last few days, where he devoted everything to getting Arden promote which still took forever, and the promotion growths were a joke. Dude can't catch a break in his own game lol.

Absolutely bungled my unit planning, Julius and Ishtar both in range of my units but absolutely no legendary weapon users to great them, just no hope, full chapter restart incoming...

You're actually supposed to sacrifice a unit to them which will cause them to leave. You can then revive the unit with the Valkyrie Staff.

Personally I used the sleep sword then nuked Julius with Ichival lol

I just had Ced handle Ishtar. Weapon triangle disadvantage against Forseti is a terrible thing to have.

Like fuck Arvis but he had a good cause even though it all fell apart due to demonic influence.

And obviousky he DID care and DID want good things.

I'm going into this final chapter to fuck up some dragon blood, but as far as I'm concerned Arvis was the main villain and probably the best FE villain.

Best FE villain to me is for sure either Arvis or Travant. Julius and Manfroy are definitely letdowns in comparison.

Oh yeah, what was Ced's base speed? I know the most recent hack fixes that bug, but I'm not sure if the one you're playing on does. Not that it matters much with Forseti and that speed growth.

Right now his speed is capped at 30.
