If it's not turn based, or a text based game then it has to be at least 60fps. It feels horrible going from 60 to 30.

I give more of a shit if it's stable or not. I would prefer everything to be 60, but 30 is completely fine for most games. Fighting games are really the only genre where being at 60 matters most.

i can 100% tell the difference between 30fps and 60fps. i dont know if i could 100% tell the difference between 60 and 120, but I bet I could get close.

I prefer all games be 60+ fps including turn-based. Dragon Quest 11 looked glorious on my PC with 100+ frames.

I always did since the N64 days but the Sony fanboys said it didn't matter because of cinemas. Then the GC also had more frames then the PS2 but that also didn't matter. It wasn't until the PS3 that they started caring about them.

Frame rate matters a lot in some genres more than others. For eSports shooters, you should be aiming to get your FPS to approximately double your monitors refresh rate.
