She doesn't care. Like she was making jokes about still being around when others were getting fired. She went into business for herself. I honestly don't think she cares about this topic, she just wanted to get people talking about her. I mean look who people are talking about. If she really wanted to address this real issues she could have worked with G4 to a forum or have a real discussion about it. Just not throw it in the middle of something that doesn't have anything to do with what was going on.

It was dead on arrival. People overstate the Frosk rant. I'm sure it didn't exactly help, but G4's time has long passed. They had something when it was Techtv and they fumbled it.

I loved Techtv/G4 growing up, but everything that made them unique can be found on YouTube.

I'd argue the they were better before the Tech TV merger.

I saw the shutdown coming, but I completely believe Frosk didn't contribute to that. Or at least wasn't the sole contributor. They already had major trouble getting viewers before Frosk went on her rant.

The fact that Frosk's justified rant is the only thing most people know about the channel is an argument that she gave them more visibility than anything else. Like that rant is the only thing I ever watched from the revival and I used to watch pretty much everything the original G4TV had to offer.

On the bright side, the Completionist might start doing some more videos on his secondary LP channel again.

So many people in the comments sections on everything are saying she killed and its momentum, when it didn't have any momentum to begin with. They had paltry views before AND after her rant

It's kinda true...She was talking out her ass too much, and lost cred, but fanbase being how they are they gonna go attacking someone's appearance. As shitty as they are you don't attack your niche audience.

You never insult your customers. Doesn't matter what you think of their views especially knowing that their views have been the same juvenile points for literally decades. If you want their attention and subsequently their money, you best treat them with the utmost care. You're not entitled to their time or money. However, they are entitled to their own opinions of what you're selling to them.

If you were selling them something they need and there's no competition for you, perhaps you could get away with talking to them from your giraffe.

The network zombied on for a few months, and apparently tried eye-candy again, but it was never going to succeed on cable.

Her rant did nothing, it was basically dead on arrival. It would be like saying Gamefaqs died because Vegy started saying sloppers.

Does anyone have ratings before and after Forsk rant. I found one place looking into it. But it is bounding into comics. And while they said she did have a major negative impact, I would not really like to cite them.

I might be alone in this, but i liked their god of work skit.

Times have changed and G4TV just couldn't recapture the same magic it had in the 2000s. Maybe it's for the best that it stays dead.
