Yeah, I hope this one has a good finisher because almost all the MCU shows suffer from bad finales.

I doubt it will be much longer. I think they have the longest episode listed as 33 minutes iirc.

And kinda bummed that she did get into legal trouble over this, seems dumb.

I like that they tried something different but this ending didnt land for me

I'm not sure I liked the ending, but it is very fitting for the show lol.

We did get to see Hulk's son which I assume is confirmation of a WWH movie, so that should make some people happy.

I dont know confirmation but man we need something. Was hoping that some hints of old hulk returning would pop up but now we got smart abomination instead :/

As the show pointed out, I prefer doing this type of ending one time to doing the similar endings we've gotten before.

They won't make another hulk movie. And now we have two replacements for Hulk with his son being introduced so now Ruffolo can properly retire from his role like Evans and Downey did.

That was one of the best and worst things to ever happen, on these shows.

While the 4th wall breaking was great, Jen's ending was just stupid. Like a big plot point in the movie was stealing her blood and that is just thrown out of the window.

Ruffalo can retire, just leave savage hulk. Ruffalo didnt do enough in the mcu to be mentioned next to evans and downey. Captain america and iron man are men at the end of the day. Hulk is a near immortal green rage monster and ruffalo isnt even required, hulk should be around for a while

Let the man move on, it's been like 15 years goddamn. Ruffolo has been pretty vocal about not liking all the motion capture and green screen and such he has to do for the role all the time. If he's willing to participate then great but don't be one of those people putting pressure on him and Marvel to keep it going.

This is one of the things I very much dislike about Marvel fans of both the comics and the movies, ya'll really are rabid and entirely too attached to certain characters to let them go to the point that people can't move on in peace.

The MCU is not the comics. They dont need to do everything theyve done in the comics.

That was heading towards a 3/10 ending and then flipped it to the 10/10 I loved that.

they did hint at a hulk movie. And the post credit scene means well likely see Emil again (announcement for Thunderbolts within the next few weeks likely)

plus Jen will probably either show up in Daredevil or get a season 2. There were enough references to that for it to almost be certain

Its not but hulk outside of mcu was a top 3-5 popular marvel character. Why retire him, retire ruffalo of he wants. Dont retire a guy with that much popularity

I was definitely geared up to feel let down af when the lodge fight started spiraling into a clusterfuck, and Jen definitely saved it from that. But I was hoping that we'd still see things resolved instead of just.... skip to the arrest, ya know? I'm glad the bad ending got smashed, but a bit disappointed that we got NO ending.

That said, as an overall vessel for meta humor and commentary on the MCU and fandom in general, it was fuckin beautiful.

I made a post before about how Jen was a horrible Lawyer. Yes she is, Emil is her Client. Her job is not to see that takes accountability, her job is to keep him out of jail. If all he is doing is getting money to fund his convent, then he is doing a net positive in the world.

I'm pretty sure that helping your client hide a blatant parole violation is a good way of getting disbarred.

I didn't suggest she do that. She went out of her why to make sure that he gets in trouble. Those are two different things.

This entire discussion is pointless though since (a) she did it out of moral outrage and (b) she was not his lawyer.

also going to add she didnt report it. Emil reported himself.

Jen technically changed it while talking to Kevin but that was because she wanted him to feel remorse.

Emil made the decision himself. Jen was only advising him about what he was signing

I think it was a good ending. The K.E.V.I.N stuff was a bit werid. They should have just had Kevin Feige himself. Maybe acting super weird and eccentric.

That lodge scene was pretty hilarious though. I burst out laughing when some guy was like "I'd smash you" to Pug and another guy went "what?".

Matt just dropping in after everything was over was beautiful. I liked that he stayed over. Seems like they might end up a couple and she will likely show up in his show.

This is by far the most disappointing part of the finale for me

So stupid of the subtitles to spell out his name like that, wouldve been a real fun twist to expect a human Feige and get the AI right at the meeting like intended

As soon as she smashed into Assembled, I figured she would find Feige. But subtitles also spoiled it for me.

I do like the commentary on how much of the MCU felt algorithmic.

Because it was stupid and felt tacked on (as she directly referenced). The point of all the villains and side characters is to make Jen better recognize who she is as a person post-Hulk.

I imagine the implication is that Todd injected the blood and it just didn't work. As Jen pointed out, that's more-or-less just a retread of the Super Soldier Serum and Bruce said in the first episode that they became Hulks due to genetic markers they shared.

maybe, but i think if it didn't work it just would have killed him. i think she Alter'd the entire plot thread out of existence.

I like to think that she made it so he still injected the blood, but it just made him impotent.

LOL this is the best Disney Marvel show for sure

my only criticism was they didnt go far enough. Yeah they lampshades the factory assembled process, Kevin Feige in a pedestal and the weirdo super fans but ironically they had to stop short before they did too much.

I thought that episode was pretty good. Can't wait to see what's next for the Hulk storyline.

Speaking of Wong, did anyone else think Abomination was breaking the fourth wall too when he asked if Wong had been sucked into another TV show? I thought he was hinting at another Wong cameo, but I quickly realized he just meant that Wong was watching BSG or something.
