What you want to do is downgrade the in-game graphics.

Now think how much hotter it would be if the fans were spinning slower.

Just to be totally sure: 109 degrees... Fahrenheit? That's nothing. Celsius? Then you probably have cause for concern.

whatever MW/Warzone's overlay defaults to. I'm guessing Celsius. Gonna use the AMD overlay for a quick game and see what it says though

I'm pretty sure GPUs shut shit down when temps reach triple digits in Celsius so that doesn't seem right

This. Unless you have an awkwardly vented case, it should never get that hot in Celsius. Fahrenheit its still not great though.

I turned on AMD Chill and played another game. Warzone overlay said GPU temp was in the mid 80s the whole time, AMD overlay said GPU Cur Temp was in the 60s and GPU Junc Temp was in the 90s

Celsius on the AMD ones so assuming the same for Warzone's

idk the difference between Cur Temp and Junc Temp >_>

This is my exact PC btw, had it for about two years now but never really played around with the settings

That sounds...extremely problematic, to say the least. You're absolutely sure it was displaying in Celsius? Because that's like, actual catastrophic levels of not good.

Just based on comparing the AMD overlay which shows Celsius and the Warzone one which doesn't show Fahrenheit or Celsius, the numbers were fairly close at most times so sounds like it was Celsius

But putting Chill mode on seems to have solved the problem without affecting performance so...I guess it's fine now? Fans are still loud as hell but probably not much that can be done about that

AMD cards do tend to be "noisier" than nVidia. Noise cancelling headphones will solve that problem.

one thing you could do is check if the fans are gunked up with dust and clear that out.
maybe replace the heat sink paste.
