Firefox is still the most customizable browser there is, despite Mozilla's best efforts otherwise.

Firefox

and if it's one of the .01% of websites that doesn't work with it, I'll use Brave or Ungoogled Chromium

Firefox. Especially with the shit that Chromium is about to pull regarding add-ons which will affect both Chrome and Edge.

Yes. Use uBlock Origin.

Works on both desktop and on mobile platforms.

Firefox to the left of the screen, Brave to the right of the screen. Both windowed, not full screen or snapped evenly.

Used to be Chrome on the right but swapped to Brave.

Mostly use Firefox for gamefaqs and YouTube. Mostly use Brave for Discord and more YouTube.

Firefox.

I am really surprised at these results as I would have thought that everyone except me used Chrome as that is the market leader.

You can get anything you want on Firefox.

I have uBlock Origin, Ad Block, an Ad Blocker for Youtube, Sponsor Block for Youtube, Privacy Badger, Clear URL's and Tamper Monkey stuffed into Firefox.

All add-ons work far superior than they do on Chrome.

Working on Windows/Linux/Anything besides MacOS.

Safari running exclusively for Apple means its the best choice if you have a Mac/iPhone, whatever, but its also not an option if you run literally anything else.

Chrome is still the most popular, but a lot of that is just memory from it being the best browser like a decade ago. Now that competitors are much better its losing some steam, but there are still tons of people who will just use Chrome because its Chrome.

If you are like, a super casual computer-person and don't care about your browser beyond "works" you probably just immediately download Chrome and never go elsewhere.

It is because it's the phone browser. It's the same reason that Safari is #2: phones. It has basically nothing to do with the casual-ness of the user.

Messing with add-on collections seems like it undermines the "privacy" ideal.
