Once you take the deal, you die if you set foot outside the US. Planes going directly from one state to another count as "in the US" even if they cross Canada / international waters, as long as they don't make any stops in non-US territory.

If you aren't already in the US you have a one week grace period to get there, but you don't get any of the money except what you need to get there, until you're there.

Just have the US annex the entire world. Win-win.

I have no desire to live in the USA. There are parts I dont mind visiting, but I wouldnt want to live in them.

Im currently in Ha Long Bay, but I live in Hanoi.

As for confidence in what a good place it is to live, just ask any of the expats whove been here a while. People come for one year and never leave. Theres a reason for that.

Edited my previous post, but I simply didn't hear much about it at any point. I heard about other wars so I'm not sure why Vietnam was an exception. I know basically nothing.

Getting there is the tricky bit. After that everything is cheap and easy.

The food and people have been great (though Ive been told people are less friendly/helpful in the south) and theres lots of natural beauty. Plus its a springboard for exploring other places in Asia.

However, the biggest draw is that I can live like a king over here. I get paid nearly triple what Id get back home, almost all my expenses are paid for me on top of that, and everything is really cheap. Im like a whole different class of citizen over here. Not that I am a citizen, but, you know.

Ah, I forgot an expat in developing country is definitely an entirely different experience.

And yeah, Vietnamese food is great, Asian food in general is a nice experience.

Id take it in a heartbeat. Right now, all my anxieties are caused by lack of money. 10 million would have me set for life and Id be able to actually start living my life if I didnt have any financial woes.

My friends and I were planning on going to Japan again, but for $10 million? Id easily give up international travel. I think its better for me because as a Hawaii resident, I havent really seen too much, so visiting even other states would still be a big, new experience.

I haven't seen anything that was so special I would go back and see it again. Granted, I haven't been to any Asian countries, but I've been to almost all of North America, Central America & Europe, parts of South America & Africa, and all of the Caribbean.

If you enjoy nature, there is more to see in the USA than most places in the world, IMO.
