Oh right, that's the movie with those monster kids, Shaggy had a red shirt and Velma, Daph and Freddy weren't in it for some reason but Scrappy was, you know, i wonder if one day they'll ever try to redeem scrappy, surely there's something positive they could do with him,right? oh who am i kidding hanna barbara themselves hated his little ass he was one of the earliest examples of suits meddlin where they didn't belong kinda like kazoom the magic green alien man that only fred could see or those smurf kids after Smuffett was added to the cast. --- A worthless existence ... Took time away from Fred, Daphne and Velma and having a hypercompetent super strong nephew who could solve the mystery in an instant if they let him lose so they could prolong the episode the old fashion way kinda killed the vibe of the show. Well, I never liked scooby dum all that much either, but he didn't get the live action treatment they gave scrappy. Scrappy was annoying to the fans and I suspect that's why they made the actual gang hate him in the movie. I was mostly ambivalent about him and preferred the actual gang. Anyone else find it weird when they did a cartoon with just scoob+shaggy and Daphne, but without Velma and Fred? It was an odd pairing ... Copied to Clipboard!
