As far as Adams coming back to Green Bay, I think the Packers are better off. Rodgers already eats so much of the cap, and with Adams on the field Rodgers doesn't look anywhere else. He had someone else (I think Lazard?) wide open on their last offensive snap in the playoff loss last year, and he completely ignores the open receiver to try forcing the ball to Adams in... I think it was double coverage. It might be nice short term to have him around, but I think the team is better off long term. Not like they're getting another Lombardi with Joe Barry's super soft zone defense that can't defend a crossing route.

Had a governor and non profit use 6m of welfare funds to build a volleyball stadium for his daughter or some shit. There's texts of it going down where he obviously knows it's wrong and is asking to make sure nobody will find out about it

Short version of the story is that Favre got $8 million in welfare funds intended for the poorest families in Mississippi to go to pet projects of his, including building a volleyball facility at Southern Miss - where his daughter played.

Court filings showed him texting a local politican asking "is there anyway the media can find out where it came from and how much?" Also was trying to get millions more as recently as 2019 in texts to the former governor to try and recruit Deion Sanders's son to Southern Miss.

Edit: to the above $6m was tied into the volleyball stuff, $5m for building and $1m to Favre for "promotional appearances" the other $2m went to other stuff Favre wanted like a biotech start-up he invested in.
