I loved this episode. This was like peak MCU right here. Matt randomly showing up and teaming up and then they both fucked. Lol.

It was great to see Matt again, even though that costume sucks. I liked that he was all bubbly and flirty. And the little Daredevil theme jingle threw me right back into 2015.

Also loved them dropping the confirmation on the Sokovia Accords.

Hope they stick the landing with the last episode.

Lol if nothing else I appreciate this show making fun of all the wacky tropes in the MCU

It's definitely in the upper echelon of MCU Disney+ projects for me. Might even be the best

Another thing I'll add is that I loved that back and forth legal banter between the two of them in the courtroom. I love courtroom dramas and those types of scenes are where the show shines imo. I love the "what if" legal scenarios that could apply when superheroes are involved in the mix. They actually seem like reasonable arguments.

Probably the best episode of the season.

I only hope that she doesn't get into massive legal trouble over this, it'd be dumb. She didn't "Hulk out," she smashed a TV that was about to show revenge porn to her parents and a room full of colleagues and caught one of the dudes who was obviously behind it.

I mean what's the point.

I got nothing against generic chicks but every other superheroine in all of comic books is skinny as fuck. You get She-Hulk and Wonder Woman ,the two who are supposed to be muscular and hire tiny skinny chicks to play them.

I don't get it. It's against diversity, it's less visually interesting, it's more dull.

At the very least have the pride to acklowedge that instead of attacking the people who bring it up.

Except the bulky version of She-Hulk is not the status-quo, her build is usually more similar to the show.

The images you posted are from a recent story line where she received an additional gamma boost, which made her temporarily more muscular and less in control than normal. If we're going to see more of her in the MCU it's possible they'll adapt something like that.

She-Hulk did start out fairly lean in the comics, then she found out that the more muscle mass she had as Jen, the more she had as She-Hulk. So she began to work out.

Going "look I found a comic where X looked like Y" doesn't mean much. Lois Lane was a fucking Centaur at one point.

My singular point this whole topic (that a horde of people have fought more aggressively than the soldiers in the western front of WW1 to ignore) was that there is very little vareity in female superheroes.

They all look like generic skinny models. Wonder Woman and She-HULK were 2 of the very few mainstream ones who actually looked different. And in both cases the fact they were different was relevant to their outsider personality.

Both Marvel and DC taking those 2 characters and in their most mainstream outing to date with the most eyeballs on them intentionally choosing to go out of their way to make them as generic as possible, is worthy of derision

it's bad for the character, it's bad for the genre, it's bad for the viewer, it's bad for the visuals, it's bad for the storytelling, it's bad for women, it's bad for art, it's bad for vareity. Just so more nerds can get off to it as if they didn't have enough material to do that with already.

That's the point I've made since my first post in this topic and in nearly 100 posts not one person has been able to address it. Just get really angry and fling insults like a potato cannon but not address the succulent point, since doing so would require a personal admission.

Binged the whole show today since I heard Matt finally showed up.

Honestly better than I expected, though I think the first half of the season was a bit more entertaining since it featured Bruce and Wong. The middle episodes dealing with Titania and her love life was kinda meh. Episode 8 is definitely the best one overall though (despite the ending being really cringey).

Really appreciate how it's using its medium as an episodic show to actually...have each episode be an episode, as opposed to the whole season being "a long movie" split up between episodes like most of the other shows.

And I'm super pleased that Matt is exactly the same as from his own show, right down to having a sex scene thrown in there because why the fuck not. Charlie Cox being back is great. Was smiling every time he showed up. Dude strolled into town, won a case, stopped a crime, smashed a Hulk, then went home. Total chad.

(She-Hulk's CGI is super distracting though. Looks like she was ripped from a PS4 game or something.)

Take with a grain of salt but the finale is short, like 35 mins with credits

She-Hulk isnt even super buff in the comics at all usually, her depiction in the show is much more accurate
