Finally Daredevil lol

One more episode to go after this one.

Probably the best episode of the season.

I only hope that she doesn't get into massive legal trouble over this, it'd be dumb. She didn't "Hulk out," she smashed a TV that was about to show revenge porn to her parents and a room full of colleagues and caught one of the dudes who was obviously behind it.

My favorite episode so far, I do have a bit of an issue though. Matt did seem a bit more MCU and a lot less dark Netflix series, the frequent smiling and remarks were out of character, but I do understand that he is now a MCU character and things from crossover characters can change.

Not complaining, still a great episode, finale next week.

I haven't seen the show but it bothers me that She-HULK isn't a huge muscular chick.

I mean what's the point.

I got nothing against generic chicks but every other superheroine in all of comic books is skinny as fuck. You get She-Hulk and Wonder Woman ,the two who are supposed to be muscular and hire tiny skinny chicks to play them.

I don't get it. It's against diversity, it's less visually interesting, it's more dull.

And all the guys who refuse to jerk off to in shape women can still go and jerk off to Harelyquinn and Black Window. You haven't lost anything.

Feels disrespectful to the character, their fans and muscular viewers. Basically being told they are ugly and need to fuck off and be more generic like everyone else.

Imagine casting David Spade as Hulk and Eric McCormack as He-man. It would be torn apart, yet here we are.

It's just sexism frankly.

Oh, and I really enjoyed Jen's monologue at about 24 minutes in where she wonders why the episode is still going. Probably the funniest bit from the show.

Yeah. But Id also counter it was because he was hitting on Jen. But Id be surprised if they didnt lighten the tone

That was great. Im going to give it a 10/10 for the Daredevil walk of shame alone

Also glad to see they went the Jen cant always control her anger route maybe thatll shut some people up (I doubt that)

I feel like Matt's casual banter here wasn't too far off from what we saw of him in his own series. Outside of when shit gets real, he was generally warm and charming. In this instance it may have felt a bit... more, for lack of a better word, simply because the situation ISN'T such a heavy weight for him like Fisk or The Hand.

I mean, she smashed a TV so hard that parts of the building collapsed and could have fallen on people, blindly smashed through a wall in her pursuit of her perp without knowing for sure if an innocent person was on the other side, and based on actual roaring, was not in full control of her actions. She was 100% experiencing some hulk rage, she just comes back from it easier because she doesn't have comic DID. That combined with being connected to some extensive property damage the night before won't help her.

Me either. Saw S1 and S2 when they were new and currently slogging through a full watch of Marvel Netflix (hit a snag with Luke Cage S2, between this and RoP being twice an episode viewings for me, we'll for sure pick it back up though). I'm basing more on his behaviors in those seasons before things start to weigh on him, and his college backflashes.

Daredevil was awesome, the yellow was not as bad as I thought it would be. Hearing the frog guy's legs shatter when he hit the pavement was almost as funny as Titania shattering her teeth.

I think it was nice seeing Matt a bit more easygoing. He's not really supposed to be another Batman. He knew this was a low stakes thing and was attracted to Jen so makes sense he was more charming and easygoing.

The Netflix Marvel shows almost tried too hard to be serious and dour all the time. The Defenders was the least fun crossover of perhaps all time.

It was also clear from the end of Daredevil Season 3 that he had resolved whatever angst he was dealing with during that show, so he's probably just more laidback and chill now.

To be fair I think that was a normal amount of rage for what was happening.

True, but Bruce's whole point was that because of her powers, she needs to be extra careful of controlling her anger. She doesn't literally become a split personality like he does, but even small instances of anger can be potentially destructive for her.

They tried to frame Jen's rebuttal as proof that the show was trying to make her look perfect while making Bruce look bad when it's clear from the beginning that Bruce was actually right.

BTW, I like how this show has consistently predicted how incels would react to certain moments and was able to troll them about it. Them showing the the Meg the Stallion twerking scene AGAIN realizing dudes would be butthurt about it

Show continues to be an absolute delight, Ive been genuinely enjoying every episode so far. This may be my favorite. I need to rewatch Hawkeye to compare lol (my current favorite).

I was honestly not a big fan of Netflix Daredevil, but it was still cool seeing him show up, and I definitely appreciate his legacy and why people are hyped about him showing up.

I hope Jen actually murders Josh. It won't happen because disney

That was a great episode. Best one of the season by far, and I enjoyed all of the other episodes.

It was consistent enough, if hes like this for whole series then that'll be a problem but this is daredevil netflix (in tone/personality) on a very good day

I saw someone saying that after the whole show has been treating the audience as a confidant and friend, she gets really upset when she looks out at us and realizes we saw everything happening too.

Same. If anything my issue is I wish there was more.

I haven't felt like that for any other MCU show. Usually they feel too long.

Good writing, good acting, and good characterization can make you want to spend time with that character, even if they're doing very little important. They nailed it.

Its just plain fun and enjoyable to watch, the advancement of the MCU overarching plot is secondary to that.

Daredevil began as a much more light-hearted character. Had a very devil-may-care swashbuckler personality. Considering that the MCU Daredevil is likely going to be a soft reboot, I'm thinking he'll spend most of Echo (the next show he's supposed to be it) the lighter version of the Daredevil, but clashing with Kingpin in Echo will make him jaded, maybe even give up the Daredevil mantle for a while... Before Born Again, brings him back.

There also may be other important information he stole from the phone but those images flashing up on the screen included things from her phone.
