Shit is too expensive. It's like $6.99 for the regular box.

I splurge if there is a Pikachu or Mario edition cereal.

Other than that I buy store brand cereal around the $2.99-$3.99 marks.

Some store brand cereals are still brand name cereals... not always, but a good example is the seemingly knock off of lucky charms "magic charms"... is made by POST

Yeah I've seen this too, General Mills makes some unbranded cereal for the store at a reduce price. If you look at the fine print on the side of the box it says "Made by general Mills"

Here you can get tons of food on hand downs.

The cerals here are the off brands like you get in the Joint.

Funny thing is that the homeless and druggies don't go there to get free food.

Regular people go there.

I use to debate on how people who could buy normal people food would go there and take from poor people.

Then I realized that because if they don't it'd just get tossed in the trash.

Yeah, I prefer a lot of their stuff compared to name-brand. Especially their version of Cocoa Puffs.

They also did a Cinnamon Toast Crunch - style cereal - but with blueberry instead of cinnamon - that I loved.

malt-o-meal is pretty big out in the mid-west i see it at a few stores here in new england

I throw a fit when my mom buys off brand crap

I only buy name brand cereal if it's on sale and something that doesn't have a knock off version, like the Smorz I just bought last week

That's not theft.

I've tried a few store brands, but the ones I have tried taste like crap. I will have to check if they have mentions of who they are made by.

Aldi has good cereal.

These are the brandless cereals that General Mills makes. I picked these up at Aldi and they are exactly like their General Mills counterparts.
