It's just that I have asperger's, I'm pretty socially isolated, making friends is already difficult enough as an adult in the shit years that are the 2020s, and over these past few years, everything that's brought me true joy has come to an end. My grandma, aunt, and John died, FiM ended, the world went to shit and my overall mood went with it. That cat was the last truly good thing I had left, and I didn't even realize it. When he went, it broke me. I've genuinely never felt this miserable and hopeless before, and it really isn't helping that it's late autumn, so it gets dark before six now. I... I just hope receiving the cat's ashes won't cause a relapse. Still, I'm definitely upset at how autumn has been ruined for me. It used to be my favorite season, yet three out of the past four have seen me lose someone I cared about dearly, and 2019 even added in the end of FiM, the lost tooth, and the stomach bug. Every autumn I experience from now on will have an undercurrent of dread, of wondering what's gonna go wrong this time. Edit: Oh yeah! How could I forget the very early 2020 shoulder strain headaches? Having permanent tinnitus for a few weeks was fun! Also came with an ink impression of his pawprint and a fur sample. Sadly, the fur sample bag doesn't seem to be resealable, so I should probably just leave it be. He dropped tufts everywhere anyway, so I could definitely find some in obscure corners. He's finally where he belongs. His physical remains are with us, and his spirit is in the great beyond, freed from suffering. While I'm sure Gearbox can fix it on a technical level, they absolutely don't have the writers to give it a soul. The only person I'm concerned over is Volition's video editor, Josh Stinson aka Chip Cheezum, who is also basically the only LPer I still watch, since his stuff is well edited, funny, and he knows what he's doing, so they're informative as well.
