If a character is well written, or even just well performed in a coherent fashion, I generally will like the character even if they are an absolute skunk (after all, it's better to be a skunk in fiction than a skunk in reality - bad guys make real life awful, and they can make fiction really fun). And Diane certainly isn't a skunk. She's a complex character, with a lot of flaws and some virtues in the end, and that's just where good entertainment comes from. --- Yo, man. Prestoff 09/23/22 1:09:06 PM #31:	Both characters are the same thing, the difference being Diane owns up and faces her mistakes most of the time while most of the time Bojack always tries to hide or deny his mistakes and it always bites him in the ass in the future. Though my favorite episode was the one where he strangles the actress and when he tried to own up to it (which meant destroying his own reputation and career) actress and along with the producers said for him to play it off as a joke. When she said that she wants to be known as a good actress with a lead role as oppose to that girl that got strangled by Bojack, it really shows that sometimes people being shitty is because that's the way Hollywood show business works and why a lot of people get away with it.
