As someone whose only video game industry experience is being a consumer, I can not answer that question.

Well nowadays, if it's gonna be an MMO, then they will probably need all of it, esp with CGI, Voice Acting, MoCap, Advertising, etc

But yea, it's a Lot, even for a AAA title...most major films don't have that type of Budget

Funny if they suddenly 'Disappear' and say that's all the money wasn't enough and close down shop

SWTOR had an article around release claiming it was 660m to develop, but when you ask anyone, there's many different answers.

Note this is in a thread where dude is claiming this is what he hears.

Considering how much voice acting there is, who knows. From day 1, I hardly saw any glitches and was very impressed with the game.

EverQuest 2 impressed me the most in 2004 with max settings. Our guild transferred so we could blow through the content. It was pretty badass at the time. They had a younger staff working on 2 vs 1 who were mostly older.

I don't understand why people keep giving money to those scammers.
