For context, I played DS2 but only partway, ditto for DS3, and Samurai Shodown I played before any DLC came out and I'm itching for some Basara/Baiken/Nakoruru gameplay again, and for the Nonary games I've already had 999 spoiled but not the others. I will need to purchase DLC for Samsho, and will need to purchase Strive in its entirety. I found the first quarter of the game is mainly tough, since your character doesn't have much to work with, while the second quarter was relatively easy. A high powered character rolls past everything at that point with little difficulty. [There was one boss I didn't have to worry about at all, since its attacks were completely negligible in terms of damage.] The difficulty really ramps up during the third quarter however, and the final quarter maintains that difficulty throughout. I still haven't finished Elden Ring yet, but, I'm very much right at the end though.

I found the first quarter of the game is mainly tough, since your character doesn't have much to work with, while the second quarter was relatively easy. A high powered character rolls past everything at that point with little difficulty. [There was one boss I didn't have to worry about at all, since its attacks were completely negligible in terms of damage.] The difficulty really ramps up during the third quarter however, and the final quarter maintains that difficulty throughout.

I am also playing Tales of Arise right now too.
