Been playing for like 12 hours and I've only properly explored about 2% of the game.
It's the kind of game you have to quit your second job to dedicate thoroughly exploring and beating it.

So far I've just been to Kakariko Village and the Hateno regions. Exploring the mountains and finding shrines and korok seeds. Learning how to effectively deal with enemies and all the cool shit you can do with the tools.

And the second game is said to be another 20% bigger fwih

The first 40ish hours of that game is the best game ever made imo

i played like 70% of that game and i don't remember anything about it

The worst open world games are Ubisoft

their games just feel like chores and busy work in a game

Testament to the game is how I never once lost interest in the geography. Seems like every remotely elevated landmass is custom crafted.

BotW is one of my GOAT games and I've spent thousands of hours exploring Elder Scrolls / Fallout games, and this vid is still hilariously on-point.

I was not used to Kakariko Village being a ninja town. It's a farmer town with a spoiky underside in my heart, always will be

Generally, I really love Zelda games. But BotW wasn't for me. I vastly prefer other Zelda games.

If breath of the wild had more secret animals to hunt to craft armour and weapons then it'd be great.

Make it so they only appear at certain times too. Like the dragons were pretty cool.

Otherwise, after you've done all the shrines, there's hardly anything to do. And I tried to get all the korok seeds until the one where u gotta roll a boulder down the hill, I finally gave up on that one.

I know some people hate sailing but I would have preferred to have 2-3 massive islands like continents separated by a large body of water and have secret puzzle islands like in wind waker.

Yeah, Alaska is huge as well, doesn't mean there's a lot there or anything to actually do. At least you can climb in the rain there I guess.

I spent a year beating the game Any% casually doing most content I could find and do.

I spent the next two years attempting to 100% it and failed miserably.
