Round 1 - Got Mega Man 2, Super Mario 64, Metal Gear Solid 3, Final Fantasy Tactics, Wii Sports, Persona 3, Xenoblade, Phoenix Wright, Kingdom Hearts III

Basically, if I played the game, I knew what it was, because they were all pretty well known songs from those games (except maybe the PW1 one).

I did want to put on the kiddie gloves for the first round at least, the last two were maybe a bit too difficult up front.

Round 2 - Got Chrono Cross, Donkey Kong Country, the victory theme connection, Sonic Adventure, the final boss theme connection, totally guessed Deltarune after the hint

I should've recognized the Mega Man X5 one, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Guessed Turtles in Time instead of Shredder's Revenge, but I knew it was a Turtles game. I recognized the Mario Party 2 song, but it'd been too long since I'd played it to remember what it was. I knew one was a Final Fantasy game, but I blanked on which one. I love Kirby and the Forgotten Land, but its OST was honestly pretty forgettable to me so I didn't get that one.

Bonus Round 1 - Didn't know any of these

Round 3 - Got Ken's Theme, Samus's Theme, Roxas's Theme, missed the Hammer Bros. theme (thought it was the Koopaling theme), got Midna's Theme, Celes's Theme

Round 4 - Got Playstation 2, missed 3DS (thought it was the Wii), got Wii U, Playstation 1

Round 5 - Only got Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga battle theme, didn't play a lot of the GBA, so most of these were foreign to me

Bonus Round 2 - Got Persona 4 Golden, didn't know the second game but I guessed Golden Axe, which would've been wrong

Such an underrated soundtrack. Game was mid though.

Commenting on what I flubbed, but I did decently this go around. Followed the same scoring method..

ROUND 1 - 11.5 points
0.5 for picking MGS4 instead of MGS3, did not guess Blue Dragon, did not guess Monkey Ball (presumed it was a Katamari)

ROUND 2 - 25.5 points total (got all the triple themes correct!)
Group 1: 6 points - Group 2: 5 points (did not know the third game, but guessed theme via context) Group 3: 5.5 points (Lucked out on TMNT:Shredder's Revenge from playing Arcade a lot as a kid, guessed Mario Party 1 instead, got the theme.) Group 4: 4 points (guessed the wrong Sonic, guessed Duodecim, picked up Final Fantasy half-pointer, and I really should've known Kirby after VGMC16.) Group 5: 5 points (Still haven't played Omori and didn't guess it, did not make the "duh, it's Chaos" connection.)

BONUS ROUND 1: 2 points
(for the third one, guessed Atelier Iris, should've guessed Ar Tonelico because of our weekly Kama quizzes on VGMQ, and strangely, only one I got was Live a Live which is on my to-do list.)

ROUND 3: 26 points
(Nearly perfect except I was dumb and for SMB3 I guessed Boom Boom instead of the Hammer Bros.)

ROUND 4: 18 points
Did not get Dreamcast, PSP, Steam Deck, or Phillips cd-I

ROUND 5: 17 points
(-1'd for wrong Mega Man series, but +3 for title screen for a net +2 for #2, even 0 for Advance Wars because I guessed Sami instead of Andi. Also, the post-commentary on Castlevania kills the Isquen.)

No spoilers here other than I didn't get any of them :D

one thing I've noticed about these so far is that there's usually one person who's way better at this than the other two

I don't know if you've considered bringing back previous winners for a future video to see if the competition is a bit more even

Next episode will in fact be a Season 1 championship match. Cause I too have noticed this trend lol.

Finally got around to watching this. Didn't really keep track of my score, but I knew a decent number of the songs in the first few rounds. The last couple rounds were almost a total blank for me, though.

I missed out on the first couple of these, so I'll go back and watch the other ones later.

The Before and After round is so fun to make, but of all rounds I feel like this one is going to have a shallow pool to pull from.

I'm sure you could crowdsource them to the folks here.
