I put spoilers cause i dont care about them.

Shes obnoxious. She might even be right but how she goes about it makes her seem completely wrong.

Shes just annoying and i just watched an episode devoted to her being upset and its been the least enjoyable thing so far.

If shes going to go with moral high ground then go full force and expose Walt. If not then play a long and get paid when walt dies. Shes in a horrible middle ground where she smokes and fucks her boss.

She should've kept her big mouth about walt's money.

She gets better around season 3 but she starts out pretty terrible.

She's obviously more deserving of hate than the violent criminals on the show. Obviously.

I hated her start to finish, a lot of people disagree.

She was the unfun part, kinda wish Walt marry Gus so we can have more Gus scene instead of her.

I feel like while most of the Breaking Bad characters do bad things, they all have charming or endearing aspects to their personality.

Skyler just seems really passive aggressive, condescending and rude to almost everyone she encounters. You almost never see her smiling or in a good mood. She's not unlikable for what she does, but she just has an extremely unlikable personality. And then she does unlikable things on top of that unlikable personality.

I actually like Skyler's character and I ranked her #9 when I was doing my Breaking Bad character rankings. But I see why people don't like her also

She's one of my favorite characters in the show! Her and Jesse are probably my top two.

Saying "I Know what money laundering is" on Saul's face and then proceed to google the definition of money laundering.

Imagine building a family with a sweet meek guy for 25 years and then learning that he has been avoiding and lying to you the past several months because he's been cooking meth and dealing drugs and getting people killed. It's plausible you'd have a complex reaction to that.

She wants her old life back. She is aghast that Walt has not only done this but is continuing to do it against her wishes because it's FUN to him and that enjoyment outweighs the legal and family risk he's taking on. He decided he'd rather cook meth than take money from two former friends. When Walt blows off Skyler telling him to stop, she acts out, because she's trying to reassert any sense of control to the situation and she's stressed out as hell.

Skyler is Walt and the audience's reality check, but Walt and the audience want to keep escaping into the drug kingpin fantasy, so she is villainized.

Skyler starts to actually enjoy being Walt's accomplice. She likes laundering his money and covering for him with the gambling story. She willingly helps him with his crimes while still being condescending towards him whenever possible

It's only when he bombs a nursing home that she realizes just what he's become and decides they've gone too far. but instead of going to Hank or the police she smokes like a chimney while staring sadly out the window for the entire season.

Skyler had a lot of chances to get out but she didn't because she found it FUN as well

I kind of agree though in my post I was speaking more of her role in early to mid season 3 where she's kicking Walt out of the house and shit. That's the part of BB where Skyler hate tends to be most concentrated. I don't know that Skyler really enjoyed laundering the money. She pretty quickly found it to be untenable.

Skylar is just a bad and shitty wife, Walt would have been better off just divorcing her and living his life as he wants as he is a dying man.

Kim in Better Call Saul is a much better woman who supports her man without being a liability and tries to keep him on a more noble path while not being the stupid stick in the mud.

Omg, she was trying to divorce the drug-dealing psycho that wouldn't stop harassing her. It wasn't even cheating, they weren't in a relationship anymore at that point.

Skyler really never cheated on Walt. She tried to kick him out of the house but he basically blackmailed her by refusing to leave knowing that she would be the one who looks bad or she has to expose him as a drug dealer in front of his son, which she wasn't willing to do. He took advantage of her and coerced his way back into the house against her will. At that point, all bets were off. He could force her to let him live there, but that doesn't mean they have a marriage
