I've always kinda suspected that I might have ADHD, but I've never been able to afford actually going to a psychiatrist to try and get it diagnosed. Got a promotion recently that includes pretty solid insurance as a benefit, and I think mental health stuff is covered through it too. Been really considering trying to set up an appointment and see if I can get some actual diagnoses, not only for that but for anxiety and depression too.

I dont know that I even want/need medication per se, but it would be kinda nice to have an actual answer to what's going on in my brain. Guess I'm just kinda wondering if it's worth the time and money to go get diagnosed and shit, considering I am able to still function on a daily basis, there's just some days that certain tasks are a lot harder than others.

Anyone here get diagnosed as an adult ? Was it worth the time and effort? Were you able to actually get treatment for it/what all did it entail?
