I just built her like a standard physical DPS. I mean, its not like its hard to get Def% substats when the game basically showers you with em.

Ah I see. You were stuck on Signora, right? One option is to give Noelle lots of defense and then have Barbara be your main healer, with Noelle as your shielder / secondary healer. That might be enough to get you through. Even at level 40, if you give her Thrilling Tales as a weapon and 4 star artifacts with HP as their main stat, she should give pretty decent healing.

And weren't you using Yoimiya? It's definitely possible to win with her. My first Signora victory was with her as my main DPS. But, she has a disadvantage compared to other elements.

Finally got Kokomi, glad I can use my healer and hydro applier in a single unit and have it not be Barbara.

Now I just need the game to give me a EM Gilded circlet for Kuki....

The Aranara quests get more interesting towards the end. Can't wait for Rana to become playable. Also, I like how throughout the quests the aranara talk about another blonde female nara that met them before and Traveller/Paimon think nothing of it.

I've been doing the Aranara quests the past two days, myself lol. I thought people were exaggerating when they said it was incredibly long. I'm enjoying it at least, a lot of others were miserable. Aranara are so cute <3

I think there is no way they'd leave her unplayable. They're already constantly teasing her in Klee-related events (she visited Mondstadt very recently) and players seem pretty hyped for her.

Wonder if Dendro Archons skill will have a longer duration than its cooldown like Zhongli and Raiden.

Lets be honest - all they need to do is have a character with persistent on-field dendro application. Traveler can do it but it requires a bit more effort (ER%, etc). This is the reason why Dendro isn't really all that popular right now relative to how new and "exciting" it is.

It also doesn't help that Dendro's lack of Anemo interaction makes it kind of annoying to set up and use even when you do have persistent uptime. There's an unecessary amount of micro-management to Dendro that isn't there with elements that can be swirled.

Also, Bloom, Hyperbloom and Burgeon require more effort for seemingly the same damage output as the traditional Vape / Melt / Taser comps.

I'm convinced that unless MiHoYo radically changes how reactions work, or straight-up engages in severe power creep, they'll never be able to prevent Childe Vape and Raiden National from dominating everything. The investment cost is so low and the damage output is so high.

Childe vape's DPS at low-investment is better than nearly any other comp at max investment... and it only goes up from there. At max investment, Childe vape's DPS is stratospheric and frankly kind of comical. And even more comical is the fact that it only needs one five-star character (Sucrose works about as well as Kazuha).

And in the off chance that Dendro is essentially required to beat something, both comps can swap out the Anemo (Kazuha / Venti / Sucrose) for a Dendro.

The primary reason anemo is big is VV and secondary is gravity pulling.
If Nahida has Yelan-style pulls with huge versatile DEF/resist shreds, she can rival even Kazuha. Absolutely in case of shredding geo, anemo, dendro itself.

This is why Nahida is needed, if she's potent enough (EM buffs, application) she could change this.
Nilou also eliminates all effort, if you're willing to go for her niche

Short skill cooldown and seamless dendro apply sounds very much like Raiden/Zhongli having a short cooldown; long duration skill.

At first I didn't understand why they gave venti a rerun, but he's actually gotten a lot better in Sumeru.

Does anyone know how to lower the water underneath the Jungle of Inverted Dreams domain in Sumeru? There are vines and a Withering down there so it's possible, at least.
