Indifferent.

As long as they do their thing over there Ive got no problem with them. I wont support nor oppose their beliefs as long as they dont attempt to directly infringe upon mine.

Ghandi summed it up pretty well.

Also growing up and going to a lot of churches, Ive generally found that the less you participate, the better. Just show up for the service and leave as soon as its done. Dont attempt to make friends or get involved with the volunteer programs because it's nothing but high school drama but instead of high schoolers its middle aged white people

As long as they keep to themselves, I dont care.

  • Don't pass laws based on your religion.
  • Don't preach to me about your God
  • In particular to Christianity since it's the most popular in the states.....no, America is not a Christian Nation. And separation of church should be the standard.
  • Don't talk to me on a mile high horse about being morally superior, while missing the irony of even implying such.
  • Etc...
More importantly, don't complain to me on that megaphone victim complex of persecution. (Looking specifically at Christianity for the US.)

My post applies to all religions, but Christianity is the biggest one in the states so it goes without saying it's the one I come across the most.

Hard to say, most I met were pretty fake and don't practice what they preach so I don't really trust them no matter whether they claim to be a Christian or whatever, the Bible always did warn about a false religion and I'm thinking its Christianity but whatever

Most everyone is Christian here but we're very chill about it. Most people barely attend church services and don't take these things very seriously.

The ones who do, I uh, don't hang out with.

My opinion continues to decline over the years, unfortunately. I see too much bad over good, constantly, tons of hypocrisy, etc. Christianity's numbers have been declining also, in the US, pretty massively in Australia, it makes me wonder when so many more people see through them if they will make an effort to change, or just continue doing what they are doing and watch it continue to tank.

Most of them being conservatives sure as hell doesn't help much either.

I feel sorry for the earth's population, 'cause so few live in the U.S.A. At least the foreigners can copy our morality, they can visit but they cannot stay.

I have no problem with Christians. I have some very specific issues with Christianity, mostly relating to the church and its effect on the broader culture, but Christians themselves are like any other cultural group or denomination - they're equally prone to being dickheads as they are to being reasonable, decent people. You could say the same of you and me.

I respect the fuck out of personal faith, but the world as a whole would be better off without people "in charge" of the canon. Read the stories, follow a strong moral code in line with the text, speak about it with like-minded Christians even. The second you introduce a church into the equation, the whole thing goes to shit.

They won't change. They're convinced that the world around them is wicked and is growing even more wicked by the day. They'll think that any criticisms that "the world" levies at them is Satan's influence, and keep doubling down on what they had been doing.

The people from my church are really cool, giving, friendly people. My only issue is the occasional person who is more hung up on specific words in The Bible.
