I guess it locks a spot down for just a moment but the paint coverage is just so terrible. As for what's new about it, I never really stick with the games that closely so aside from the expected new maps/weapons/campaign/abilities I don't really know beyond the Splatfest change to Tri-Color but I'd imagine Spla2n would be pretty dead now, and Splatfests stopped a whiiile back. Probably could've waited for a new system but I dunno when that'll even be and I doubt there'd really be that much more included even if it were. It's not like Splatoon 2 was really breaking new ground. The series certainly needed to be reinvigorated, but whether you actually want to jump back in is up to how much you enjoyed the games so far. --- I request affiliated many pipes. I think it's meant to be a player-killer with the charged vertical shot (from jumping), since it's easier to get multiple hits that way, and a triple hit should be a kill. NewerShadow 09/20/22 12:26:45 AM #43:	Took a couple hours, but I finally beat the bonus mission in story mode. Thoughts below: The first stage is just such an endurance run without a checkpoint. Having to redo all the stuff you've proven you can clear every time is such a drag especially since there's a decent amount of dead time. Second/third were a cinch, last stage was challenging but in the fun way - I ended up trying to abuse the ninja squid to clear out the last wave and eventually getting there. I think my total lives spent ended up something like... 15/3/3/20? But stage 1 is just so demoralizing. Now to remember to go into story mode every day to burn off my 60k extra power eggs >_>.
