And i absolutely love physical games. But movies just seem expensive to buy yet easy to rent or stream somewhere. And of you dont mind illegal methods then i really dont understand.

The 4K Bluray of Get Carter has hours of extra material and an 80 page liner notes book, its sexy as fuck. Also discs generally have better video and audio quality in general.

Yo, man. Don't eat those. :(

Picture wise, is a HD stream as good as Blu Ray?(Assuming the best possible TV)

A bunch of animated series just became completely inaccessible because the dudes with the rights wanted to save a few bucks and took them off streaming. If you really like a particular piece of media, get a physical copy before it disappears.

I just don't trust these companies.

They've pretty much banned episodes of shows from streaming because they have kneejerk reactions.

Like, you still can't watch that Michael Jackson episode of the Simpsons anywhere streaming, because they banned it.

When are they gonna start actually taking away digital content that you actually purchased for whatever bullcrap reasons?

Extra content sounds like a solid reason. I didnt think of it.

Tbh physical movies make more sense to me than games, at least for your favorites. Works when your internet is down, bonus features, no worries about shifting streaming platforms and so on. Buying physical games these days usually just means needing to get up to change the disc. The only real benefit is resale value imo. And I almost exclusively buy physical.

If something is good enough to want to rewatch, why wouldn't I want to have it on disc? If anything movies/shows have much better chance of being played again than video games.

I have so many games i may not get to them all. Sounds dumb i know but if its physical and i didnt play it then its still a sealed game. If its digital then its a complete waste until i play it.

Don't worry, being able to sell later has been a big reason my game collection has gotten so big.
