I'd like to say I'm shocked, but I'm not

I'd like to argue that it "violating religious freedom" makes no sense, but they don't care

The suit is being led by attorney Jonathan Mitchell, the Republican former solicitor general of Texas known for his efforts to restrict abortion access in the state. Mitchell argues that mandatory PrEP coverage forces Christians to subsidize homosexual behavior in violation of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Conservative groups have cited the 1993 law to challenge abortion, contraception and treatments for transgender people.
Mitchell seeks to block the entire preventive services mandate under the ACA, arguing its invalid because the government employees who manage the list have too much power to not be confirmed by the Senate. Depending on OConnors remedy in the case, that could have a far-reaching impact nationwide, putting at risk requirements for no-cost access to other services, like care for pregnant women and infants.

The Straights can catch HIV too, mother fucker.

God, these people are the densest dumb mother fuckers.

Well it makes sense in the "only gay people get AIDS as a form of divine punishment" way that right-wingers just won't let go of

They don't want to condone homosexual behavior by providing PrEP, huh? Well, since straight people also get HIV, I feel comfortable labeling such actions as owning a company, going to a grocery store, and simply existing as homosexual actions since gay people do those things too. Also, judges shouldnt be listened to since gay people can become them and that violates my freedom of religion.

I cant even think of some random BS reason where this makes sense. This is another level of bullshit. If the employee doesnt want the insurance to cover their anti-HIV meds then they can just pay cash. If the employer doesnt want an insurance to cover HIV meds then they can find a different company to get insurance through. That or they can probably iron those things out through the contract with the insurance company. Why put a limit on employers when it doesnt negatively effect anyone?

The only thing I can think of is that it effects the drug companys pockets. I know that the pharmacies make less money when a drug is covered by a government program like Medicare but Im not sure about company insurances
