Like goodie, you enjoy Halloween instead of other Holidays and constantly feel the need to tell people you look forward to it as early as July and subsequently shit on Christmas for popping up as early as October.

The hypocrisy is irritating.

I once knew a guy that claimed he celebrated Halloween every day of the year. He proudly proclaimed that he was Halloween.

The hate people here have for others having fun is weird. Please don't shoot up any schools TC.

I prefer Black Christmas myself, though only slightly. Those two, and Alice Sweet Alice, are the best slasher films.

I feel like the older I get, the more I like Halloween. Just the aesthetic of it and fall time.

That's not hypocrisy, TC. They aren't complaining about people being excited for Christmas. They're complaining about people setting up X-Mas stuff so early. You'd have a point if these people were putting out Halloween decorations in July. But they don't.

But really around Halloween time is the best part of the year. It just has a special vibe.

I tried to watch as many horror movies as possible in October. And I make certain to watch one on Halloween. This Halloween, the plan is to watch the 1992 film Ghostwatch. But leading up to that, I'm watching at least four giallo films, Cat's Eye (the Stephen King scripted film), God Told Me To, Dog Soldiers, and Poltergeist.

It's my sister's favorite holiday. She has a huge party every year. Does a haunted trail (we're neighbors, so are my parents, and my parents have 20 acres of land with all sorts of trails and stuff my dad has made over the years) and multiple games for the kids. Last year she bought an outdoor projector and we watched Hocus Pocus. We do a hay ride and costume contest. It's mostly for the kids but it's a lot of fun. Have a huge fire and eat chicken stew. It's honestly a ton of fun. Halloween rocks.

It's harvest season, dawg. How can you not get excited? However, you can't decorate until September.
Christmas unfortunately falls really close to Thanksgiving, so it has to wait until that Friday for decorations

i spent my october watching horror movies as welll
i always watch hocus pocus in october though. its my halloween tradition.

i grew up loving horror so i use every holiday as an excuse to watch a holiday themed horror movie though.

Halloween is the start of the holiday season, and I hate the holidays.

i like halloween the most too, but to me october through january i see as one whole thing. the holiday season. i love all of it. best time of the year by far.

I celebrate Halloween by turning off all my lights, locking my door and getting out the anti child spray.
