It used to be a business, and it reminds me a little bit of a creepypasta setting:

But I've started moving stuff in and it's feeling more and more like home. Here's some stuff I moved in:

The green couch is the comfier one, and it's on the top floor in the largest room. That's gonna be my bedroom, and I've got another room on the side that I'm gonna turn into a PC/streaming room.

It's above a kebab shop, so the room I want to turn into a streaming room smells like kebabs all the time. It's gonna be awesome.

Also, I bought a bedside dresser today and snagged some fine art. Behold:

I wouldn't say that at all. The Australian standard is either some shoebox they built in the seventies for cheap, or some glossy shoebox they built for cheap in the 2000's/2010's. I just live in a townhouse above a kebab shop - it's rural out here, too, so rent is way less than you'd get in Sydney or Canberra.

You might as well say that a small loft in Minnesota is the American standard.

Brother, when I die, my last wish is for my skin to be tanned and turned into a casting couch.

Nah, I applied because I thought it would be funny and awesome to live above a kebab shop.

Also I just checked the website where I applied for my place, and the cheapest place is now $320 a week.

The kitchen is carpeted, and the bathroom light is like the one from Rocky Balboa's apartment in the first Rocky movie. One of the rooms always smells like kebabs.

The bathroom has a ton of pink porcelain. Toilet, sink and shower - pink porcelain all the way through.
