I'm in sunny Southern Cali and I just wrapped up my 2nd and final shower for the night and I'm already feeling miserable again lol. I watered my grass this evening too and I guess I'm not supposed to do it again for a while after today.

I turned the AC off earlier around 4pm but I'm probably turning it back on in about an hour.. Which will be 10pm. Trying to sleep last night was some straight up BS though, lol. I woke up more times than a stubborn Cosby victim and more sweaty than Satan's speedo.

Right now I have two fans on opposite sides of the room and I'm okay as long as I don't move lol.

We've been pretty good about our usage. Our bill is only $150 for PG&E + water. It's only the two of us tho.

Why are we passing the responsibility on us the tiny consumers when its the big corporations and the ceos that are to blame for usage. Its like recycling a piece of cardboard, that pales in comparison to the wastage of those corporations.

Anyway when I'm brushing my teeth I never let the water run

Yes, I would say so.

My energy company used to send green status off with their bill and I was close to the top as possible.
The other places were probably unoccupied but still had power. I use a reasonable amount of Solar power.
And I tend to use rainwater to water my plants. I put a tarp under the eves to both catch the water and stop it from going near the basement walls.
Plus I use my yard wagon to collect water as well.

I cannot recall the last time I saw rain. All of that sounded awesome but the rain must have a restraining order against certain parts of San Bernardino County lol...

Using fans. We had days where it went up to 40C (over 100F, I think) this summer. Fans kept me relatively cool.

Ya, it is on off here. We were in drought conditions for most the summer.
Now it's been a lot of rain. When we were in drought conditions, when it rained it was a monsoon.
North East weather knows no chill. Except for winter, then the chill is artic.

Not really but I don't use a lot anyway. Depending on the temperature, I'll keep the AC on for my dog.

You need AC but just dont want to admit it, fans wont keep you cool in high 80 low 90 degree weather much less 100 degrees. Either you love to sweat and stink or just pretend to not like or need AC for those hot days.
