My role is simply Miller [role name]. My item is completely independent of my role. When I said Miller was a modifier, I referred to my role name. My item has nothing to do with my role, so why would I consider it a modifier?

Suppose Lea is Plain Miller.

I (correctly) assumed all items are one-use. Lea uses her item and now has no other powers. Wow, now she's a lame ass Vanilla that scans guilty. In a role madness game, too?

Meanwhile, I have Miller, a power, and an item. That's why I would've found it odd if she was generic Miller without added powers. If I were a generic Miller, I would've found it odd if she did have powers.

But maybe that's just me.

Lopen has demonstrated in the past that he's good at seeming very Townish on D1. He uses a lot of logic and makes solid arguments. This is Lopen as a person though - he could make an argument that the world is flat and aside from being wrong, one would consider it a good argument.

In purple monkey dishwasher mafia, Lopen had a particularly good argument on Red being Scum. He stuck to that gun like a purple monkey in the dishwasher.

I was getting vague vibes to that from Lopen. What I didn't mention was that I don't know if I'd say it's particularly different from how he normally is. In fact, I'd say the bluster we're seeing from Lopen feels more on the Town side.

It's not solid arguments so much as being comprehensive.

For example, I like to point at someone and say "that post is Scummy" and then I'm right, but it's not as explained out. I do explain it, but I can only explain that sort of thing to a certain degree.
