For me I've long since had an idea of a kind soulslike mmorpg that has a lot of its roots in DnD, along with a type of style that was similar with similar systems to anime like Overlord and Mushoku Tensei, and even with some That time I got reincarnated as a Slime.

It would be an absolute monster of an MMO with a lot of the core systems somewhat derived from DnD but also expanded way more, probably being a lot more close to Overlord, with it having some soulslike mechanics, just massively expanded upon.

Like to start very general, it would have whole race and class trees that allowed each character to not only be unique in their class and race, along with their weapons, magic systems, arts, lineage, jobs, and karma systems/trees, along with the standard souls/soulslike systems to go along with it, and a sorta soulslike stat system for every tree that overall effected each tree and allowed it to grow in the direction.

It would also have tight, almost soulslike combat that would provide/allow for a more fluid combat based approach depending on all the other trees. With the stats system almost being something like a final tree that was first affected by all the other trees, then decided on to fine tune a build/character and overall gameplay style.

Along with that, it would have something of a mix between the ideas of a DnD style game, and a souls like, with face-paced action, magic and so one. With an unparalleled amount of freedom to build your character and play the game however you want.

What does CE think about my idea? (Even if I didn't explain too much?) Also, what kind of game would you make CE?

I think a lot of people have this idea. I think a lot of people had wanted Dark Souls for a long time before Dark Souls was actually made, for that matter.

Immersive sim about a rogue AI.

The gimmick would be that the prologue of the game has you playing one of the scientists responsible for creating it and the general theme of the AI would change based on choices you make. My thought is that it's your first day on the job and you're left in a waiting room for a few minutes and it's full of a variety of things.

If you look at the artwork on the walls, the AI is more artistically inclined and you'll find corpses mangled into art pieces and enemies will be more fantastical in their methods and movements.

If you look at the displayed weapons, the AI is militaristic and the enemies have higher artillery.

If you look at the religious iconography, the AI thinks it's god.

That kinda thing.

Extensive character and outfit customization, for both your base and transformed states, would be the most important aspect

Super flashy high speed and large scale combat

Grouping is not mandatory and would just be a means of going to higher level content at a lower level, with no rigid group roles like "tanks" or "healers"

Extremely high level cap with classless progression that would let you reach completely busted levels of power

Like there would be a cash shop but I'd make so useless that people would only buy things as a joke and you could unlock literally everything in the game by just collecting the login bonuses for a month.

Super high quality art and voice acting and everything. Translations into every language and voice acting in most of them. The works.

Cyberpunk minus all the fucks ups but make it shadowrun instead.

fortnite 2

Sonic Adventure 2 2. Mostly Sanic/Shadow style stages, spread across Sonic, Shadow, and Amy. Mech stages return, but the mech is smoother and more mobile, and Tails' levels don't include a mech. Chao Garden returns with more features, more colors, and faster aging.

Also the rest of the infinite budget goes towards paying Sega to drop boost gameplay forever.

A ninja stealth game like Tenchu/Shinobido, but in a fantasy setting with better kombat, Metal Gear levels of insanity, and the main character is a Naga.

a horse game. a game where you play as a horse. basically i loved crystal's pony tales as a kid and it's sad no one's ever made another game like it.

Unlimited budget?

First step, buy the rights to Lemmings. Second step, bring it back in a way that's suitable for modern audiences, but also keeps the spirit of the game and isn't microtransaction-filled bullshit like the recent mobile game. Also goes without saying that the moment I've acquired the licence, that game disappears into the void (or alternatively, is updated to remove the microtransactions and either becomes completely free, or else free to anyone who's previously made microtransactions on it and a one-off purchase price with no further costs for new players).

I had this idea for a Fallout 4 and Metal Gear Solid 5 type of game where you drive around in car that can transform into a robot around ruined cities across America fighting zombies, raiders, aliens, other robots, etc. One of the main gameplay ideas is to find different vehicle forms for your robot to help assist in some quests. Rescue and let survivors join your cause to unite the wasteland or further ruin it by making it a true hell on earth. Go back to an earlier mission area to see if your choices helped it or not.

But alas, one can dream. Probably would set everyones pc on fire.

I've always had ideas for a strategy RPG + city management type game, where the plot & battles are directly affected by how you develop your city, the general area, & deal with enemies in combat. In simplest terms, I guess you could describe it as Civilization: JRPG Edition.

A huge soundtrack composed of dozens of songs from varieties of genres like punk, ska, hip hop, rock, metal, alternative, and other oddball picks, with a ton of classics from each game that you can unlock by finding secret mix tapes.

A huge cast of skaters with different tricks. Old skaters, new skaters, characters from Marvel / Star Wars / random video games, musicians, Kelly Slater on his surfboard, Shaun Palmer on his snowboard, Shaun Murray on his wakeboard... and even have BMX be an option!

The first three would just play like skateboarders like Slater did in THPS3, but BMX is a complete gameplay style. Throw in every level from Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX, share the love with the O2 line. And might as well toss some songs in from them too.

Create a Skater and Create a Park are large and robust with tons of pieces and personality. For parks, you can create gaps and goals too. But parts for each are unlocked through completing goals and gaps in the main modes.

The main mode would be World Tour, where you'd go around the world hitting up every level by geographical location. Start in California, go through to the East Coast, travel the sea to Europe, to Asia, come through the Pacific and go through a wormhole to the wacky levels like Ruins and Skate Heaven. All of it's set up like classic Tony Hawk, with races and competition events in appropriate places. It's my dream game

Probably an evolving live service game with various different types of gameplay, probably focused on some kind of multiversal travel through a large number of different environments. The bad part about live service stuff is that they have to focus on monetization, but taking that out means you don't have to worry about gatekeeping people out of content.
