You can probably throw in Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman too. I been watching superhero shows and movies that star women and I liked them all. But when I go on forums it seems there are a lot of people trashing the shows and even the actresses. I remember Gal Gadot and Brie Larson getting a lot of hate. It feels like I am walking into Andrew Tate fan threads sometimes on Reddit.

Why are female Superheroes so hated? I looked up She-Hulk's ratings for example and it has so many 1 stars

A lot of those votes are from weak-minded idiots that listen to charismatic idiots' opinions. And some of those charismatic idiots are just saying those idiotic things so they can get views and clicks and laugh to the bank.

Captain Marvel was a pretty meh movie, but people were hating it before it even came out because they had an axe to grind with Brie Larson.

Someone will say "You're ignoring valid complaints so you can scream about sexism!" No, I'm just talking about some rather loud invalid complaints.

Eventually gonna watch Ms Marvel but it's pretty low priority. Mainly just don't care for kid superhero stories, same reason I drag my feet on watching the high schooler Spider-Man movies. Really interested in She-Hulk though, just waiting to get closer to the season finale date so I won't have to do more than one month.

Yea this is happening with She-Hulk. The show hasnt even completed its first season and is getting hated. There are so many shows in TV history that had bad pilots or first seasons then got better. Psych, Rick and Morty, Seinfeld, The Office, Succession, and Bojack Horseman are some that come to mind.

There is a little bit of both. There are a ton of a reason to hate these things. However at the same time, there are a lot of people that that them because they are female.

Like I hate Captain Marvel since they treated black people poorly in that movie. Monica was looking up to Carol. Now, Monica was the first female Captain Marvel. And then she just whatever they did to her in Wanda Vision.

And then they made the Baddest none Super into a chump that loses his eye because he can't stop playing for a cat.

So there are reason to dislike these movies. But when you hear people say stuff like woke and shit you know it just because they are females and not because of the content. And that really sucks . Because people who dislike the content are out shouted by people who don't like the women.

She-Hulk Im surprised is getting review bombed.

I can see though that the 1st episode may have soured many given how they portrayed the Hulk compared to past content in the MCU.

People abhor Captain Carol because shes an awful person. People generally love Wonder Woman. Trying to make it a gender issue is silly because people are different. She-Hulk MCU seems like a hateful person so fans hate her back. Comics and video game She-Hulk are almost universally loved.

The actual answer is that its a MCU issue primarily. Ms. Marvel Carol Danvers is a lived character. Actually, Kamala Khan herself (MCU) is extremely well liked too the show just wasnt well relevant in any way but thats not her fault.

Brie larson gets hate because of her toejam. And also they pit out an add looking for a buttdouble.

I was only interested in the series for the Hulk. But as usual he's treated as garbage, and I've all but lost hope of him being salvaged.

People have been review bombing all the marvel shows but especially those two. A lot of it is real sexism but I think the majority is just trolling because people like stirring the woke debate. And to be fair to Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman, both Gal Gadot and Brie Larson are fucking terrible actresses, but people ran too far with complaints.

But didn't people love the first wonder women movie?

Thor 1/2, Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2/3 aren't well received in the community either, or Eternals lol

of course there are bad eggs where they are a dozen and people do dislike them for starring women which invalidates their opinions
