The town cop was called to the scene of what had appeared to be another body in a tarp. Apparently, someone had taken it tubing down the river the prior night as in having used it as a tube since it was still waterlogged. What a way to go out that had to have been.

The cop took out his Xacto Knife to carefully get into the tarp. The only marking on it was a code of some kind, 80085. As he cut, he saw some white fabric inside, and pulling it out, it was a mattress pad?

WHOMP!

A swift blow to the back of the head knocked him out before he could respond.

Lets get creative with this one, a goon said. Only we aint letting him James Bond his way out of it!
I got an idea, a second goon said.

The town cop awoke tied to the backseat of a biplane. There was a pilot, someone who seemed to just be getting up. He grabbed a parachute as the cop started moving his arms. Apparently, they mustve thought that tying his arms to the armrests was enough. He started with the left one, which was tied into the cupholder on the wall. Pulling it forward, he was able to loosen it.

The pilot then saw him and gasped.

So, it WAS you! the cop shouted.
Heh heh heh, the goon replied. Have a nice flight.
Well see about that, the cop replied before punching him left-handedly. The tight quarters were going to make for an interesting fight, although the cops right arm was still tied to the collapsible center armrest.
The bad guy used the parachute as a shield, bringing it over to the backseat to start suffocating the cop. The cop started slamming with his left hand, alternating with jolting his right elbow up to try and loosen his other arm. The goon put more pressure onto him, which he realized was a stupid move the moment he felt the cops patella hit him in the nads.
YEOWCH!!!!! he shouted. Recognizing what he was supposed to do, he went for the door and put the parachute on his back. He opened the door just as the cops right arm went free.
The cop went to tackle him and succeeded, shoving them both outside at 4,000 feet.
Well fuck, the thug thought, it looks like he might actually James Bond his way out of this one. He then got punched in the face by the leech that was grappling onto him, trying to wrangle that parachute or at the very least hit dry land with the bad guy. He wasnt going to die so easily.
That said, he recognized then and there that his Xacto Knife had been taken from him, so he couldnt just cut the cord.
Looking for this? the goon pulled the knife out of his jacket pocket. Hed forgotten about it, actually, but seeing the cop reach into his own pocket was a good reminder.
And then he stabbed the poor police officer in the face, which was enough forceful trauma to send him flying down the next 3,000 feet to his death.

Alas, poor Corrik, we hardly knew ye, the goon said before pulling the cord. The parachute popped and he glided to safety.

Corrik has died. He was TOWN COP.

Damnit. I was reaallllllly banking on being dead today. RIP Xenoblade I guess. I was never doctor at all and was trying to draw the shot for Corrik, but scum must know I'm not a doctor since they shot him anyway.

Which means they must know the setup to know I was lying. So Corrik was right.

And if you're wondering why I did what I did, I was willing to do anything to not get lynched and was sure Ulti was scum and that claiming doctor there to protect Corrik an extra night was the play. Yes I could have been counter claimed by a real doctor in a worst case scenario but that was a risk I was willing to take. Its a shame because I really thought I was convincing enough to pull it off but scum must have information so it was all for naught.

And since this means Ctes is town, Plum is the only one left who I didnt have immediate obv town reads on on Day 1. And it would make sense with Peaf getting night killed since I looked back and couldnt find where Peaf is hinting power. He really went after Isquen hard, harder than anyone went after anyone else on Day 1.

If people want to take their ball and go home more power to them. There are times when self-voting is strategic, limiting choice because some people are going to use it to play poorly isn't my problem.

If you think about this for half a second it is obvious that Ben ls lying.

If Ben is town then scum would have shot straight into Corrik with a doctor claim out there in an open setup.

That is beyond asinine

You can't pretend to be getting one over on scum.

scum 100% knows the games setup.

Its clear there's no doctor and scum must know this otherwise they had no reason not to believe me. Its probably like Corrik said and there is what, 2 scum?

Which means luckily the game wont end with my lynch. But lets at least hold off and not waste the day immediately on killing me

No I thought if I pretended to be doctor then scum wouldnt shoot Corrik and would shoot me. Thus saving Corrik and getting me out of this game with some semblance of dignity restored

Your logic makes no sense. They would have had to just know i was lying from the beginning. Which is disheartening to think about because i was trying to lie to scum but i only ended up lying to town. >_> Shame on me. It happens sometimes. Gambits only work when Corrik does them I guess. If Ulti was scum I'd at least feel like I accomplished something but whatever

Yea you do. we've discussed this already. Scum is 100% in the know of the setup.

We (town) know what the setup was.

We (all) know host removed 1 role.

We know scum knows what roles they have and how many there are so they know what roles we (town) do or don't have.

Please vote for yourself so we can do this quicker. because that's a thing now.

Ben if for some reason you are town then you were the nail in the coffin for this game.

He said at least one role removed. Which means if scum has a godfather then yes they would know there is no doctor. But if they dont have a godfather then there could be a doctor. It was 50/50

Well that hurts to hear. I would say this game will teach me a lesson to not fake claim every game, but I already know I never learn lol

If you're so sure you could lynch me now and lose today

I was planning on faking power from the beginning btw. Its why I made that first post saying that you will trust me eventually, to hint in scum's minds that I was power. That way I could either doctor or cop with a fake guilty scan so that I could draw the shot away from a real cop or doctor. But I wasnt confident enough on anyone to fake a guilty scan on them and then Corrik did it himself, which left only doctor for me to try and fake. So i got cauight up in seeing it to the end and hoped scum wasn't sure of the setup and that if there was a real doctor they wouldnt be dumb enough to counter claim me

Scum also may have learned to just not trust anything I claim ever, if the last game is anything to go by. Or they just have info which would mean they have a godfather if they know there is no doctor

Blimey, that was fast. Flip in a few.

The goon landed with his parachute a ways away. He turned to see if there was smoke from the plane. There wasn't. Oh well, it was none of his business. The plane was gone, and some treasure hunter would investigate it someday.

He detached his chute and turned around. "Uh-oh."

Four angry villagers had seen him. Four angry villagers knew exactly what he had done. Four angry villagers had a club, a pitchfork, and... a Magnum revolver. Not what you'd want to have against you if all you had was an Xacto knife. Stupid gun holsters getting in the way of parachutes.

"You killed our cop, didn't you?" the first spat in his face, then punched it.
"Son of a..." the second whacked him in the temple with the club.
"Shame you ain't gonna get out of this one," the third said as he stabbed the guy's guts with the pitchfork, pinning him on the ground.
"Yippee ki-yay, motherfucker!" the last shouted. He pulled the trigger of his Magnum and shot the goon in the face, completing the process of death. "I always wanted to say that, scum."

Ben has been lynched. He was MAFIA GOON.

The copless town didnt sleep well that night. Sure, theyd killed the guy whod killed Officer Corrik, but there was unease that there was a conspirator. Maybe two. Who even knew anymore?

They werent the only ones who were spooked, though. The Mafia had been sleepless since the prior night, and they figured theyd call in an exorcist to investigate while hiding their operation, of course. The unwitting exorcist determined that a restless spirit had been tormenting the place. A Mafioso looked at the guy and asked Any way to get rid of the spirit from the place?
Its restless, so youre gonna need a restful vessel first. Im afraid all I can do is repel it for a while. The spirit needs to find peace before it can be sent.

Im afraid I cant recommend doing that. It would involve killing somebody. You lure the spirit in. You take them both out. Forced possession. Now, if youll excuse me, that will be $50 charged to your account, and Ill be on my way

How do I know this? Because I was there. Im the ghost, and Im lucky that Im able to tell you what happened next.

After researching on the Internet overnight, the mafia knocked out one of the villagers by putting chloral hydrate in his coffee. A goon took the body to the hideout and slammed it to a chair, tying him up. A cross hung above him. This was certainly a death chamber.
So, cut the cross, remove the barrier, lure the spirit in
The goon cut the cross above the body. It fell to the floor right behind, as planned. He placed a crucible on the victims head. After saying some mumbo-jumbo in Latin, he now believed my spirit to be within the body. At which point he pulled out a gun and shot him.

Ctes has died. He was TOWN VANILLA.

After that, I flickered the lights on and off, just to taunt him. Fuck, he cussed. I must be high. I shouldnt be killing when Im high. There isnt a ghost, there isnt a ghost, there isnt a ghost

Plum and Kirby, I await thoughts from you.

I did a reread of most of the game with Ben in mind and of the remaining players you two are the goods and Sultan and igcd are the bads.

Also, I am going away onWednesday. so of we could try to wrap this up in 24 hours that would be primo.

Why can't I remember anything IGCD did majority of the game I gtg in 5 minutes so I may reread igcd when I get back

So at this point I think there is only one scum left. 3 scum and no doctor in 10 would be rough. 2 scum in 10 with a cop isn't a setup I would ever run but BCT didn't really have a choice.

This is important because if we look at the lens of 2 scum I think it colors some of Bens statements

In any case, IGCD is definitely the person on my mind who I would default to as the likely scum, but part of that was hedging on Ulti being scum.

I also don't like how Sultan immediately came in here accusing Sbell of setting him up for a mislynch. Like... where the hell did that come from? Did I miss something?

Yeah, there is no universe in which Kirby and Ben are scum together. I've come to that conclusion.

On the other side, IGCD was on Ben early and then flipped later when it seemed like Ben could be lynched

Ok I realize without context this quote is pretty terrible, but just go with me here.

If ya'll wanna lynch me to reduce your poe go for it. I suppose Kirby is the only one everyone thinks looks good so he's likely dead tonight anyway. So you guys better use today to figure out who is scum between Plum, Sultan and Sbell.

Sultan, arguably looks the worst, he keeps attacking me and repeatedly ignoring any attempts to get him to justify or clarify what he means. Probably thinks ill be an easy target to get mislynch.

Plum kept going after a town Ulti basically lying about his play because we've seen that Ulti was town.

Sbell arguably looks the best put of you three. Most of town liked him from what I remember.
