Instead of the usual 20. They've apparently gone and put in all the deleted scenes in the chronological order they appear in the episode

So far they have 5 seasons of these "Superfan" episodes of The Office, and it's an interesting new way to rewatch the series for anyone who's a fan

For those who don't know, it's the recent NBC streaming service

Peacock is such a slimey service. What cracked me up most recently is that they figured out how to make even more money off people by sticking advertisements on the screen anytime you pause a show.

That's cool, I like the deleted scenes. Esp the ones showing the non-main 5 or so characters

There's stuff that was cut that makes you go "why was this cut" because it actually got a laugh out of me. Like a scene where Phyllis is hunched over carrying a giant teddy bear on her back on Valentine's Day... followed by Creed in the exact same position but carrying a drunk passed out Meredith. It's both hilarious and weirdly nice of Creed to actually care enough to carry Meredith.

I'm sure trying to decide what to shove into a 30 minute time slot wasn't easy.

It's okay. Some episodes is explained better and others you can easily see why they were cut

Oh sweet, I didnt realize season 5 was out now. Watched the first four earlier this year and its crazy how different the show is to the original cut. All new storylines, existing ones are fleshed out some more, great new jokes. A few moments I can definitely understand why they were cut (most notably the scene where Ryan and Kelly fuck in a dumpster) but its still fun to watch.

The free version of the first 5 seasons on Peacock is also a different cut from the syndication cut, original cut, and the Superfan cut.

The Superfan episodes are the only reason I subscribe to Peacock lol. I've been sub'd since The Office switched over from Netflix and I don't think I've ever watched anything else on that service.

I'll wait for the entire series to be released for my rewatch.

Im exceedingly butthurt that the extended episodes are streaming-exclusive (a practice that I really wish never caught on), but I mean, I have the deleted scenes on disc anyway so its not big deal.

There are also cut scenes that give better context to scenes that they did end up keeping in the syndicated run.

The INCEST acronym scene was fucking funny haha
