This isnt that difficult. Lotsa gridning for magic and AP but otherwise no big deal. You can get enc none in the first 10% of the game. Otherwise its carding enemies for no EXP but AP for gaurdian force abilities and using break on things you can't card to avoid XP(some battles are forced like the soldiers in Timber)

Ive never done an LLG before. Only thing that sucks is characters do not start at level 1. Squall is 8, selphie is 9 and rhinoa is 11. Thats just how it is. They havent gained a single exp point yet though

Dude I leave the beginning island at Lv100 every time.

Try the Excalibur 2 Perfect game next if you've never done it. Lots of fun and lots of save scumming.

Yeah i get to 100 eventually for more of a challenge it is easy to get to 100 because your exp needed for lvl up doesnt increase. The game isnt hard at level 100 either.

In 8 low levels are actually beneficial right? Enemies scale with your level, but most of your stats come from Junctioning.

In some way it is beneficial. Enemies are weaker as their level scales with you. But some enemies have higher level magic to draw at a higher level. But you can refine cards and items for magic so you have multiple ways to get something. Game isnt difficult at any level if you even half ass junctioning.

I know. It's kinda funny that people complain that junctioning well makes you overpowered without being self-aware to notice that by maxing out all the best magics they technically did a max level grind.

Yes. 8 is BY FAR the easiest FF to do a low level run in.

Yea so to a certain extent the game itself is much easier, but it's not really much of a pay off as the game isn't hard even at level 100. I wouldn't go through the effort unless you are one of those types who enjoys specific challenges in games.

That was one Final Fantasy I never replayed. I played it once then quit for something else then came back shortly and restarted to 100% it. That's back when I used to buy guides with every game for fun and never use them except the bathroom to look at pictures.

I replayed it twice for 100% achievements... cuz they put it on Steam TWICE for some reason

When the remaster came out, I thought about getting it, but my friend said it was a bit janky on PS4. I was in the mood for optimized not janky.

FF9 I beat back to back. First time just a clear while we were at the beach for a week then when we got home I restarted and did everything. It's weird because I can remember those days and that beach house room and the bathroom, but I can't remember what I did a week ago.

The only redo I played was FF7remake. I didn't platinum it for some reason. Not sure why, honestly. I loved it and it wasn't hard at all.

I kinda forgot you gain levels for your main characters when in Laguna dream world. I have not gained a level, but people have gained XP before I decided to check on that.

Doesn't matter to me that they gained EXP. I just want lowest level, not one point of XP at all. Some people even do not want Seifer or Edea to get XP even.
