And god damn is this shit fun. VR was already the definitive way to play RE4 but now with mercenaries, and the NEW challenges mode they added VR is hands down the best way to play RE4.

Im hyped over the RE4 remake but honestly secretly I hope they also remake it for VR, too.

They didn't include Mercs in the initial release? That's dumb. A port of a 17-year-old game shouldn't be removing features.

They did not but

its there now and its FREE. AND it has more features than the original Mercenaries.

Good that it got there eventually, I guess, but that still tells me the game was rushed out.

Yes, but I still enjoyed the campaign in VR. Trust me picking stuff up is really quick and enjoyable. The aim is amazing. Duel Wielding weapons is also great. Using a sniper rifle as a magnum is fucking fun. Using duel revolvers, also fun. Facing that dude with the claw in mercenaries scary as shit but ultimately fun.
