There's no ethical consumption under capitalism, but that doesn't give you license to consume in the most harmful ways.

I mean Chick-Fil-A in general, or for political reasons.

Some could be starving and dying and would not eat anything from Chick-Fil-A if it was all there was to offer.

I'm specifically talking about people like televangelists, faith healers, people who use Christianity to spread hate and bigotry, or the extremely cultish christian sects that heavily restrict or control people's behavior and activities, not just your every day christian who attends church and sincerely believes in god.

I like Chick-Fil-A because their food is good. Thats all I care about.

People really flock to chick fil a as if it's an amazing food experience you can't get anywhere else when in reality their food is mid af. The only thing they do better than anyone is their customer service but who the fuck goes to a fast food restaurant for that?

We live in a country where Applebee's is the fancy option for a lot of people when they don't want fast food. I'm not very surprised people go nuts over chicken sandwiches

Going out of your way to sit in Chick-fil-As massive lines is the biggest virtue signal of all. Someone without an agenda would just find somewhere else to eat.

I dislike CFA because their food is the exact same quality as all the other fast food chicken sandwiches.

I refuse to eat at Chick-fil-A because I don't want to give them any money. I don't go around publicly stating it (unless someone asks), as it is my own moral compass.

So wouldn't the virtue signalling apply to Chic fil A?

The reason you can't buy a chicken sandwich from them is because it's Sunday. They're closed on Sundays to virtue signal at Christianity.

Should've made a topic bashing them instead. Rather than the butthurt responses of their arbitrary target to give themselves some level of validation in life, you'd be getting praise.
It's even funnier because I recognize some of the users who have, recently in fact.
