You forgot to put the term "wellness checks" in quotations. So I did it for you. :)

We could have thousands of chazs. If there are people in the neighborhoods who don't want what's being offered, they can get some transformative justice, which is whatever we determine. Kicking and screaming into the brave new world. We'll call it Zimmerism.

'Strong communities' is kind of subjective. You can have a town full of Jim Bobs with the attitude "we don' take kindlee to straingeurs here, pal" and take shotgun justice into their own hands.

This, of course, is why fascists and capitalists spend so much time destabilizing communities. It would be much harder to insert their foot soldiers and criminal gangs (aka, the cops) into strong communities.

To be fair there have been societies that didnt have police. Look at the Wendat tribe of native americans.

There are also societies today that don't have police as fundamentally racist, stupid and violent as the USA.

There are some circumstances where physical force is a necessary factor. Are you saying communities should be doing this?

"Strong community" is a nebulous term.

I'm sure strong communities are absolutely equipped to deal with motor vehicle incidents, forensic investigations, removing violent individuals from property and having a place to take them to await trial, covering commercial areas, and acting as a liason between an individual and public records for the purpose of reporting and logging crimes and incidents.

Delusion

Honestly, I'm starting to see the appeal of gated communities more and more. That I hadn't noticed were as common as they were until I started driving around my state more.
