No he'd have had to actually do it. One of the first cases of treason in the country established that conspiracy to commit treason isn't actually treason. If he was trying to sell them but didn't, that's not treason.

I know we're all discouraged and disillusioned over the last several years of Trump being basically bullet proof. But if there's actual charges that Trump either did , or tried, to sell nuclear information to another country, this is on a different level than what we've seen him blatantly do so far. If something like that was substantiated, I don't think you'd even see some of the top Republican Politicians continue shilling for Trump, because they'd know they have to save their asses as best they can.

Doesn't matter because even if he were charged at least one of the 12 jurors would be one of his cultists and would make sure than a guilty verdict is possible.

Nope. That results in a hung jury and they just repeat the trial with a new jury. Eventually, they'll get a set of 12 without a magat. There's no way Trump gets away with it (if he did it).
