Anyway Lopen didn't have a lot of people interacting much with him day1.

I already mentioned Lea earlier, but she does start to come around to questioning her fondness for him if only a little.

Ben interacted with him the most, but he seemed to be okay with him at times and critical at a few select moments. Nothing major to say here.
Sbell and IGCD prodded Lopen once or twice but stayed overall neutral on him (though Sbell did say he trusted Lopen less than Ulti).
Other people are already confirmed town or people who I already commented on looking good. (Han, Ulti and to a lesser extent Red)

Day2 should be more interesting

Alright, so I looked over HB's contributions to the game.

The first time Hb does anything, it's going after BCT. He says he'd read 90 Nick day 1 to compare BCT then and here. He never does this, possibly because of the replacement I'll give him, but just keeps saying everything BCT does looks bad. This is what he does before Han gets at him. He gets extremely defensive here and it looks kinda bad. He basically just calls out Han more than defending himself.

After the callout he begins going after Death, something he has never had anyone get onboard with. This is where Lopen votes him, for what it's worth, not that he stays there. He continues going after BCT after this. I actually believe Hb does a lot better after getting in the heat a bit, even if I don't agree with the people he's after.

After the heat, he doesn't do that much again. He's there during the chaotic endgame but he doesn't actually do much, he's discussing with Corrik a bit and making it clear he's keeping his vote on plum. At no point was he after me, he actually defended me a bit with this post.

If Plum isn't happening, I guess my next choice is Ben? Isquen and Ctes are both relatively new to mafia, which might explain some weirdness. Ben... has no real excuse. It's very hard to believe he didn't know about the no-claim rule with how hard it was emphasized, and he's overall just not been as present as I'd expect for a player with his experience

He then begins day 2 wondering if there were no scum suspects at the end. Hb wasn't here too much before Sultan shot Lopen. This is where he decided go all in on me by quoting himself saying it could fit with me isoing chang in topic overnight... even though it also fits being town. He states I looked the worst yesterday upon a reread and just decided on that. I'd love to get more detail about what looked bad and not just when I looked bad because it seems really out of the blue desperate.

So I don't think Hb looks too great and I wouldn't be against the lynch, but I'm not feeling as strong about it as Isquen. I know nothing about how Hb usually plays, the one time I've seen him play he got to be confirmed town the whole game.

I'll be honest I was liking Lopen by the end of day 1 just because of how involved he was with a lot of conversations. I do really want to go back and reread with the context that he's scum. I'll get it to it before this day ends

I have been reading but my brain is too tired to tie it together and make something beyond the obvious that Isquen tried to defend/devils advocating Lopen for a bit. Most everyone else seemed to distrust Lopen from the start,

Because I'm reading back end of day 1 and currently having a hard time believing hes town.

I think ctes and Hb can just die in whatever order. I dont care. Its 50% scum for both, which is good MATH for town.

It did not escape notice that Ulti was the entire vote swing at end of day, of course.

With Lopen flipping Scum, Ulti doing the Princess play does read a little worse.

This is why I had the lot of you do those quick notes on each other. Lea, Lopen, Ben, SBell I think was my list? A group of people that were talkative and thinking along lines of each other and rising in Townishness. I had a bad feeling at least one of the people entering that zone was Scum.

Anyway, Ctes is putting in work, that's awesome. Ctes, you're less likely to get lynched now than Isquen and Hb.

Frankly it reads to me that ctes is flailing, because scum losing a man takes them down to 2. Has ctes made points today regarding anyone who isn't an obvious, easy target like me or Isquen?

Here's something damning - for the first 5 pages of topic 4, ctes basically avoided discussing Lopen at all. He only started talking about Lopen after the bus driver claim. Food for thought.

This is a giant fucking misrepresentation of what I've been doing and you absolutely know it. Death had the gall to attack me for soft-defending while doing the exact same goddamn thing and no one even fucking cared.

Whine that I'm scummy or I'm lazy all you want, but I have put in effort. I have pointed out things that no one else was talking about. I'm now realizing on re-read I only called Lopen town for being generally competent and there was no actual post I can find where he made himself obvtown or anything. Guess i wont underestimate him next time

I did say that when I claimed. Its pretty important because its the whole reason I claimed Miller post 1 at all and didnt try to use my role to block a night kill.

Now that Plum flipped town, i think this post makes HB for sure town? I'll leave it open to objections. But come on, scum are supposed to be afraid of Han and HB is here staring him right in the face and inviting his full wrath. (I mean this is assuming han is town too). I'll be impressed if he is scum but the easier answer is that he's not. Han could have single handedly swung the vote to HB and if HB is scum he would have had to be more careful than this.

I notice scum never likes to say in a lynch near the end of day that "I'd rather kill this town player over this scum player", because that is a post they KNOW will stand out as looking bad after the flip. If I'm gonna straight up say "I'd rather lynch X than X", I make sure both are town or both are scum. Or at least make sure I'm saying I'd rather lynch this scum player over this town player. But the other way around is just something scum avoids saying at all costs.

I'm not sure i really agree with that. Granted I just do whatever and try not to think too much when I play and I try to work on pure reactions to my own shenanigans.

I am going to treat Han as confirmed town going forward just for shutting Lopen down

Well you might be a little different but lopen I feel was in try-hard mode this game and would have been aware.

I really wish I had jumped on him sooner because when I saw that journal I really wanted to jump on him but didn't and his claim made me really really want to jump on him but I didn't Red coming in to essentially back up how well a bus driver fit kind of made me back off and now I'm really thinking Red could be scum. Lopen trying to paint Red as the kill target and Red coming in to "buy" his bus driver claim.

Fuck it, want to help me lynch Red? You haven't had any of those posts that really ping my "there is something off about Ben"dar so I figure we could work together for once.

A lot of that happened in the morning and not having a good feel for the timing of it all kind of blows, but it still probably tracks.

It was a good claim, he read the text on the flip. Maybe hes actually bus(Not sure, honestly, the curiosity absolutely is eating my insides).

But I certainly wouldnt say I was defending him, hell I know one of my last posts was talking about how I totally get making that claim from a scum PoV.
